Calm down, Corn Pop. He was just saying he didn't like the speech. He has good reason: collectivism over individualism has been debated for centuries, but it's been settled by anyone who values history as a strong predictor of human nature. Collectivism has never succeeded, unless you count population control as success, where it thinned things out to the tune of 100 million dead. So there's that.

Anyway, calm down and take deep breaths. Rage isn't a good long-term strategy, especially when you don't have much of a 'long' term left.

has to find glee in that those huge businesses and corporations won't stand for the commie raising their taxes, so they're all fleeing to red states by the tens of thousands. Murder and violent crime

It's no surprise, he's a straight-up Marxist, just like his father teaches. Their entire system is built on collectivism, one of those ideas that sounds great to complete morons, the truly desperate, or spoiled privileged brats with zero grasp of the real world.

This is exactly why Democrats have been waging class warfare for decades, pushing the tired oppressors vs. oppressed narrative. They've built an army of idiots who don't actually love the poor or middle class, they just hate the rich (and 'rich' means anyone with more money than them, period).

That's something Orwell figured out when he ditched his privileged life to live among the common man and see how they really struggled. Writing about those experiences got him booted from the socialist writers' club he belonged to and completely shattered his worldview.

From what we see today as for the direction of the Dem party is that it has their top 3 socialists
Mamdani, bernie sanders, and AOC grasping the limelight with their socialist agenda.
Your 2 signature statements says all we need to know about the dem agenda. If they (the dems)
get control of Congress and the Senate, then our country is doomed. The US was ever so close to being doomed under sleepy joe's 4 useless, feckless, and destructive years as potus.

If you bill something as a "block party" you should expect folks to have items that they would find at parties.. food, drink, restrooms.... now "free" maybe not, but get some folks to come by with food trucks and some port-a-potties.
