Earl, I feel sorry for you. Your mind is not your own. It would become obvious if you were to post some images of these "Hamas fighters" .

Israel was aware that Iran was responsible for that attack and that Hamas had nothing to do with it, much less civilian Gazans who never attacked Israel. Iran has been responsible for all attacks on Israel since the 1979 Iranian Revolution.

You saw that Israel did not invade Iran. You asked what you or I or Hamas would expect Israel to do in response to an attack from Iran, and the answer is that Israel should have invaded Iran for retribution, and not responded by taking advantage of general world confusion and instead seizing the opportunity to kill innocent Arab civilian non-combatants (Gazans) who never attacked Israel. There are now roughly 20,000 dead children who were alive and well at the beginning of October 2023 before they were slaughtered by illegal IDF airstrikes on civilian population centers.

All IDF soldiers should be investigated for war crimes under the previously mentioned Conventions. Israel must be held accountable and all signatories, which is all countries, should hold them accountable.
