Common sense!
I may have to go back and visit the few friends still living there that haven’t left. And I do miss the food.
If we had a president like Trump my two friends might still be alive today and my uncle would have died a natural death.

The average citizen needs a tank for protection to go a distance of a mile in that town.
The cops used to allow drivers to run red lights so they could avoid carjackings , now the traffic lights don’t even work or they’re not turned on from what I’m told.

The city is known for its food and restaurants. Ever heard of an entire restaurant held up at gunpoint? Well it has happened in N.O. More than once. In a “good” neighborhood no less.
The bad ones are no less than a couple of blocks away no matter where you are.
That’s what makes it a particularly dangerous city. The really bad neighborhoods are always right around the corner.

It has worked. Many teens are saved from drugs and gangs.
