gun control hypocrisy

it's all about control, the elite controlling the rest of us. see, the laws and prohibitions are not to be applied to the elite.

gabby giffords husband rants on gun control, then caught buying an AR15

Former Rep. Gabby Giffords (D-AZ), a victim of a mass shooting in 2011, and her husband, Mark Kelly, testified before a Congressional panel on gun control in January. Kelly told the assembled members of Congress that modern weapons
“Have turned every single corner of our society into places of carnage and gross human loss.”

Then he went out and bought an AR-15.

Kelly bought the AR-15 at Diamondback Police Supply in Tucson.

Mark E. Kelly, gun-control proponent and husband to former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, recently purchased an AR-15 (an “assault weapon,” he called it)—which he now says he intended as an illustration of the need for more stringent gun laws.

Kelly reportedly bought the AR-15 and a 1911-style semi-automatic pistol at Diamondback Police Supply in Tucson, Arizona.

Various sources contacted Breitbart News once Kelly made the purchase, and after we began investigating the details surrounding the purchase, Kelly announced on his Facebook that he was not going to keep the AR-15, which he has yet to pick up from the store.
yeah, right he's not keeping it.

I think he made the reason for the purchase clear...to demonstrate how easy it is to purchase such a weapon.

and as a RIGHT, it should be easy to purchase. we the people are the ones in charge of this nation and should be as appropriately armed as necessary to keep it.

So, it wasn't "gun control hypocrisy," then?

Of course not. That's the problem with the gun crazies. They don't understand that we don't want to control guns, we just want to take them out of the hands of nutcases like Billy and STY who are mentally unstable.

people don't trust the government to decide who is crazy or not. Just this week Diane Feinstien made the assertion that disabled veterens are mentally incompetent to own weapons. Meanwhile they want to exempt retired police.

Feinstein explained: “The problem with expanding this is that, you know, with the advent of PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), which I think is a new phenomenon as a product of the Iraq War, it’s not clear how the seller or transferer of a firearm covered by this bill would verify that an individual was a member, or a veteran, and that there was no impairment of that individual with respect to having a weapon like this. I think you have to – if you’re going to do this, find a way that veterans who are incapacitated for one reason or another mentally, don’t have access to this kind of weapon."

That Feinstein may very well be right is troubling...

you are most definitely not qualified to make that diagnosis.
