Wrong, but that was what I predicted your answer would be.

The stated goal was to push them back to the boundaries before they invaded Europe.

Back to your earlier question. Europeans tend to forget their history (because they were taught it wrong like you you were). So among popular culture, yes, The Crusades II had an expiration date. But as we are seeing now, they were foolish for thinking that they could let it expire.

It's going to be interesting. The only thing I can say for relatively certain is Trump's policies in the region won't be founded on any fantasies about Islam or the Muslim Brotherhood.

As you pointed out, he was quick to align with al-Sisi.

Do any of you have any concept of what Obama faced after the disaster of the Bush administration and a nation tired of wars?

You all make simplistic comments to very complicated world problems. I don't agree with Obama on many issues, but I know that inspite of what you claim, he did what he thought was best for our country. My hope is Trump will do the same thing and keep us from another war.
