I think you give them to much credit. If they actually even just cared only about themselves they would accomplish something. Since they accomplish pretty much squat I don't think you can even say that.

So are you like me then? With this election I no longer consider myself a Democrat. Both parties coalitions are making major changes and until that shakes out I'm not sure which one or either represents my interest. I'm currently in independent, wait and see, mode.

I think you're doing fine. It's damned if you do and damned if you don't. I mean if JPP was an echo chamber where everyone agreed membership would be nada. I personally don't understand ignore feature. I consider it redundant as I know who the idiots are and those who only have hate and anger to contribute and by and large I just scroll past their post and even if I do read some over the line post by some hate filled racist I'm like...meh it's you're life and you don't affect me...go ahead and hate away.

What? No first amendment rights? That line? Its according to who gets to define that line.....your average Joe or the PC police. Talk's cheap.....respect is what counts and respect is something that must be earned. If words bother you.....that respect is lacking within yourself. To hell with what others think or say about you...its what YOU KNOW about yourself that counts. This nation has been consumed with political correctness for all to long....do you actually want someone else policing what you can say...even in a joking manner? Hell....Russia has more freedom of speech than the U.S. Why? Its new to them....they don't take it for granted.

There are people with "small minds", that is a proven....don't allow them to dictate who you are by their words of hate. All that matters is that you know who you are and what you stand for......screw the system that is more concerned about what "others" are thinking about you....than what they are thinking about themselves. Its a corrupt system.

You think you are correcting the problem by calling these assholes out? You are doing nothing but placing a spotlight on it, that which you are attempting to police does nothing but promotes the supposed politically correct crime. Howard Stern has made millions...by playing that reality. The more you attack the haters the more the hate is spotlighted through attention. I agree. I don't use the ignore function per se. I just cruise on by the posts or threads that I don't want to read. It isn't that hard. However, as most know, I make great use of the Thread Ban feature
