Fair enough, I don't have the energy or desire to come up with new rules. I just find it unfortunate for the board.

people can choose or not to use threadbans. You threadban me every thread you make, have you noticed my free speech declining much? Desh being threadbanned doesn't stop her from stating her opinions. now be quiet little girl, it's time for the grownups to talk here.

well I am going to need people the most affected to help me on this if it is something they want. I am not a mindreader. I make a rule and then I end up pissing off half the people, or end up having to ban threedee or someone telling watermark to kill himself (which happens everyday) It's harder to make objective rules than you realize.

As I said, I am all ears, but I can't do it by myself.

No, I get it. If we're going to have free speech we have to have free speech. I believe his excessive use of the terms are worthy of an executive decision to ban or at least eliminate the posts he does it in but I get that arbitrary decisions lead to more trouble in other situations.

I'm not the one telling people who to talk to and who to shun. That would be you. You claim to be for free speech but you're begging everyone to threadban Desh: "Please for the sake of your threads and keeping them on topic, threadban desh every single time." You're asking people not to talk to Desh and you're too dumb to understand that it's asking people to give up their free speech.

Now put on your jammies and go watch Sesame Street while those of us who really understand free speech discuss it.

I was asking him to ban Face from the board. That's different, to me at least, than letting Desh post here but telling people to ignore her. If he used executive powers to force everyone to not be able to communicate with Desh that would be one thing but he wasn't doing that.

It's the same to me because free speech is free speech. If he's okay with Face and the "n" word then he should be okay with Desh. He hasn't started a thread asking everyone to threadban Face every single time. He's not calling Face a mental case even though it's obvious to everyone the guy has more than a few screws loose.

Legion Troll & Legion Fag (LOLZ), evince, philly rabbit, and Face, Your.

Back in the day, I would have added posters like CFM, but he is permabanned.

Now this is where your understanding of Free Speech fails.

Desh has the right to post whatever and how ever she wants to; but Free Speech doesn't mean that she has the right to force everyone to listen to her.
She can scream in an empty room and she's exercising her Free Speech to do so; but it's still an empty room. :D
