16-18% of people with Down syndrome have autism. Not that uncommon. I have an old classmate that has a child with both.
She also exhibits facial characteristics of Down syndrome.
Epicanthal folds, almond shaped eyes, flattened bridge of the nose , flattened face, small teeth. I don’t recall what her ears look like.
There’s also growth delay, developmental delay , mild-moderate intellectual disability.
Not saying she’s a mongoloid but if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck…
