Didn't the taxpayer fund the research for this vaccine during Operation Warp Speed? Hm. We gave Pfizer several billion dollars to research and develop this vaccine.

I still don't understand why Republicans don't support drug price regulation. (Well, I do, but anytime you remind Republican voters that they're regularly convinced to vote against their interests, they go ballistic.)

When will we grab our guns and storm the Bastille? Probably never, because Americans are all bark and no bite.

This is a good example of why we need some pharm company pricing regulation. The usual (R) argument against that is that it will stifle R&D for new meds. Yet countries with pricing regulations seem to come up with just as many new medications/vaccines as the U.S. does.

Uncle Sam hopefully will tell Pfizer to stick it (pun intended) and refuse to pay the $130/dose.

Usually the government does not pay for vaccines. This is a different situation though, a public health one. Most reasonable people agree that the government has a mandate to protect the public during a crisis like a pandemic.

This never was a crisis. The only people who needed the stab were the old fat and sick. That's it. Now that Pfizer and phony baloney tony got rich suddenly everyone is worried about the price. Besides Brandon already said the pandemic is over.
