A Manhattan grand jury has voted to indict former president Donald Trump, multiple people familiar the matter said on Thursday, making him the first person in U.S. history to serve as commander in chief and then be charged with a crime.

The grand jury had been hearing evidence about hush money paid to adult film actress Stormy Daniels during Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, allegedly to keep her from saying she’d had a sexual encounter with Trump years earlier.

Well, except now the DA wants to include the $150,000 Hush Money payment to Karen McDougal, as well, in the case against Trump!

This will probably take another 30 days to investigate it properly and get it added to the docket!

This will strengthen the DA's case, because it shows a pattern of Illegal Campaign Donations, when it goes to trial!

REMEMBER! If Trump had of only reported the Hush Money payments as Campaign Donations to begin with, he would not be in this trouble right now!

When will Trump ever learn that cheating in elections can seriously backfire on you? And don't try to tell me that Donald Trump and Michael Cohen didn't know that John Edwards was busted for the very same thing.

This man just continues to shoot himself in the ass!

Donald Trump supporters should be mad about this- MAD AT DONALD TRUMP, because this is no one's fault but Donald Trump!

The three lead prosecutors on the Trump investigation walked into the building where the grand jury was sitting minutes before the panel was scheduled to meet at 2 p.m. One carried a copy of the penal law — with sticky notes visible — that would have been needed to read the criminal statutes to the grand jurors before they voted. About three hours later, the prosecutors walked into the court clerk’s office through a back door to begin the process of filing the indictment.

Rep. Adam Schiff, a California Democrat, was the lead prosecutor in Trump’s first impeachment.

In a statement today, Schiff said: “The indictment of a former president is unprecedented. But so too is the unlawful conduct in which Trump has been engaged. A nation of laws must hold the rich and powerful accountable, even when they hold high office. Especially when they do. To do otherwise is not democracy.”

He was cursed, they say, for moving the US embassy into illegally-occupied Jerusalem. I'm not the superstitious type- but in this case he deserves jail time- not for his Stormy frolics, but for bringing the US further into world disrepute by advancing the cause of fascism. With media scrums and middle fingers, Manhattan reacts to the indictment.

The indictment of former President Donald J. Trump did little to interrupt the Midtown bustle outside Trump Tower on Thursday afternoon, but there were small signs. Tourists gathered around television reporters going live. More than one passer-by stopped to pose for a photo, gesturing at the building with their middle finger.

On the sidewalk across the street, a man had written messages in chalk earlier in the day: “Justice is coming for Trump” and “Remember Brian Sicknick,” a Capitol Police officer who died after the Jan. 6, 2021, attack by Trump supporters.
