Back to my post, it doesn't appear that anything was drawn; until the Officer moves back, draws, and fires.
Therefore, it would seem that they were trying to defuse the situation and the perp is the one who escalated it.

I also wasn't aware that tape measures and Tasers are the only items that are yellow.

The mother called the police to inform them that her son was off his meds, so they send a couple of effing butchers to mow him down.
