Governor gets COVID

Yep. A couple quotes from an article here:

Gov. Greg Abbott received the COVID-19 vaccine Tuesday in Austin, saying he wanted to show Texans how "safe and easy" it is.

"I will never ask any Texan to do something that I’m not willing to do myself," Abbott said moments before getting vaccinated at a televised event at Ascension Seton Medical Center.

After getting the injection in his left arm — a process that took just over a minute — Abbott said he didn't "feel a thing," thanked his nurse and threw his hands up.

and

Abbott said he especially wanted to promote the vaccine in light of polls that show Texans are “apprehensive” about it.

So he publicly took the shot and encouraged others to do so, yet some still b*tch.

He should be telling them everyday

Instead of promoting the idea that it’s evil

I wonder how many people he infected at his indoor, maskless get together? I hope it’s zero, there were a lot of elderly people there. Will they be contacted and tested?

So, no link of him scoffing at the vaccine?

I imagine less people were infected than at Obama's maskless birthday party.

I’m not the one that made the claim he scoffs at vaccines.

I didn’t support Obama having a birthday party, but I haven’t heard of it being a spreader event.
