Gordon ramsay takes on the shark finners

I don't usually have much time for Mr. Ramsay but I have to admire his balls for taking on the shark fin industry in Taiwan and Costa Rica. The oddest thing about shark fin soup is that the broth is the only part that tastes of anything. Unfortunately much of this is about status and prestige especially in Taiwan. The most disgusting aspect of all is that the sharks are definned and the carcass is just thrown back into the ocean, invariably still alive.

Depending on who I am with I tend to refuse the stuff.
People I know well know that I will not patronise a sharks fin restaurant, but others think they are paying me great respect. You really cant tub thump every time someone thinks they are being nice. Last time was Thursday last. I was taken to dinner by a young couple as a thank you for some work I had done for them. The sharks fin soup was trundled out at ridiculous expense. I ate it and expressed, untruthfully, my appreciation.
Really I was summing up my chances of getting inside her underwear, but I soon came to the conclusion that it would be most unlikely! (thats for the crones)

I have never been able to understand the attraction of bird's nest and shark's fin soup.

My sympathies, Lowaicue. However, always remember there are many a men who have compromised their principals to a much greater degree when playing the panty game.
