WASHINGTON (AP) — Republicans won control of the U.S. House on Wednesday, returning the party to power in Washington and giving conservatives leverage to blunt President Joe Biden’s agenda and spur a flurry of investigations. But a threadbare majority will pose immediate challenges for GOP leaders and complicate the party’s ability to govern.

More than a week after Election Day, Republicans secured the 218th seat needed to flip the House from Democratic control. The full scope of the party’s majority may not be clear for several more days — or weeks — as votes in competitive races are still being counted.

If their agenda is eating vetoes, they can let it all hang out.

Actually, the Senate won't let GOP bills even get to the POTUS desk.
 
If it is just a seat or two dont discount the possibility that the Swamp gets what they need to switch parties.

Oh you mean the investigation where no ones house was raided or put in leg irons by the FBI? That Benghazi?
 
if we had honest elections the GOP would have 300 seats. Illegal aliens and mail-in ballots have made a mockery of democracy.

But at least we do have the House even if barely.

Hunter is the Biden family bagman. He was selling influence with the Big Guy. Joe Biden. You are correct no one really cares about Hunter. This investigation will pick off the little fish to get to the big fish. Joe Biden is in big trouble. So is the smartest man he knows.
