GOP senators, led by Cruz, to object to Electoral College certification

Finally, we get it out in the open and on public record.

I always knew Republican's supposed "reverence" for the Electoral College when they won the EC in 2000 and 2016 (while losing the popular vote) was utterly phony and self-serving.

I have spent the entire 21st century stating that the GOP is chock full of anti-democracy fascists, and here they are openly proving I was always correct.
 
Cruz is really somethin' - Trump insults his family, and spends a whole campaign calling him a liar, and Cruz still says "how high?" when Trump asks him to jump.
 
Cruz is a whore. He took that great legal education and puts in with the dumb party, advancing legal theories that make zero sense.

Anyone tainted by Trump support is unthinkable as a federal official of any kind. They are untrustworthy,
and that's the crux of public service "can we trust you with our power?" Cruz? Not anymore. Trump is a litmus test.
His testing strip came back from the lab orange. Never Cruz.

It would be easier to say which Republican Senators we WOULD trust with a Federal Office.

1. Mitt Romney.

He use to be the most hated Senator on the Hill. Mitch may now hold that distinction, but I’m sure Cruz is still hated. He’s so sleezy

Agreed. If their candidate does not present a strong record of not supporting Trump, leaving Romney or an outsider smart
enough to lay low for the last 6 years or so, my verdict is "never ______________" fill in pretty much any America sellout name you see with an R.

Cruz was nobody I'd ever vote for anyway, but supporting Trump is pariah cast shit. My favorite meme bumper sticker of late I saw:
"If you voted for Trump, back off, I don't trust your judgment"

I’d trust Nancy Murkowski. She can be a reasonable conservatives. I helped Nancy’s campaign in AK. I voted for her to keep Miller from winning.
