GOP senators are skeptical damaged Trump can win in 2024

You cant have someone who was a part of what you are investigating, on the committee that is investigating it.

Agreed. Despite all the lies and denials, I'm positive the truth will come out about who was involved in treason and who wasn't.

Any particular demographic?

Can't really find too much:

"According to research done by the Democracy Fund Voter Study Group, compared to other voters, Obama–Trump voters have progressive economic views and conservative social views.[SUP][2]"[/SUP]
"Though these voters supported Trump in the 2016 and 2020 elections, they are less supportive of Republicans as a whole, and show a desire to change the status quo.[SUP][3]"

"[/SUP][SUP]Some analysts have argued that Obama–Trump voters had a disproportionately large impact on the 2016 election because they were concentrated in key swing states in the Midwest while others have said they were actually "Obama Republicans" rather than Democrats to begin with."

That's been a trend for as long as I remember; most of our differences are between Urban and Rural. Urban loves security and big government, Rural likes being left the fuck alone.

Largely agree, but Republicans don't always want government to leave people alone if it is something they don't like---currently laws in TX and FL regulating what can be taught in schools are taking power away from parents.

The governor of TX is pushing for vouchers for education but the groups behind it are finding the schools are the centers of the community in rural areas and the parents don't want them dismantled and are having trouble getting support for their plans.

I have been reading about Democrats supporting (financially) some of the candidates in Republican primaries who are the most loyal Trump supporters because they think they will be easier to defeat in November. That includes candidates who are running against some of the Republicans who voted for impeachment.

Thanks. That’s the opposite of my beliefs: I’m socially liberal and fiscally conservative. No wonder I think all Trumpers are losers and insane.

Agreed which is why the Republicans have moved from their rural roots and become citified big government assholes just like Democrats. Each trying to outspend the other.

What party represents rural voters?

GOP senators are skeptical damaged Trump can win in 2024

The damaging revelations of the Jan. 6 committee hearings are fueling skepticism among Senate Republicans that former President Trump can win the GOP nomination in 2024 or even run for another term in the White House.
One Republican senator, who requested anonymity to comment on the former president, said the “cascade” of embarrassing details about Trump’s conduct in the weeks before Jan. 6, 2021, and during the attack on the U.S. Capitol will seriously damage his political viability ahead of the 2024 election.
“I don’t think he’ll run again, and that’s a good thing, because of the whole cascade of events,” the senator said, referring to testimony by former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson that Trump lunged at a Secret Service agent who refused to drive him to the Capitol on Jan. 6.
Hutchinson, an aide to former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, is now cooperating with a Justice Department investigation into the Jan. 6 attack, according to media reports.
A second GOP senator, who also requested anonymity, said the overwhelming majority of Republican senators don’t want Trump to be the party’s nominee for president again.
“I could count on one hand the number of Republican senators who want Donald Trump to be our nominee,” said the lawmaker, adding, “I could count it on one finger.”

no they aren't.

Fredo has issues. IMO, they stem from him hiding in his closet and hating both Jews and African-Americans.
