gop saint regan and poison gas

If that's how you apply the definition, then clearly Obama is a much bigger liar.

No country came forward to say Saddam did not have chemical weapons.

Two countries (so far) have come forward to say Assad did not use chemical weapons. So clearly, Obama is the bigger liar.

Assad himself has admitted to owning chemical weapons.

Bush lied when he said there was no doubt, because there clearly was doubt, even within his own intelligence organizations... and I realize that folks claim that Obama is lying about Assad's use of chemical weapons. I only cared about Bush's lie when he used it as his rationale for the Iraq war, which was the single most boneheaded foreign policy blunder in the last forty years.

the fact of the matter is that the Reagan administration turned a willful blind eye to Saddam's use of chemical weapons against Iran because he was gassing OUR enemies. The republican administration continued to be unconcerned when Saddam used them against the Kurds.

In a thread about Syria, you leftist ass clowns were arguing we didn't know about Saddams use of chemical weapons. You idiots just can’t seem to get your idiot talking points straight? Maybe it is because you are all a pack of lying asshats with a hyper partisan political agenda.

What a bunch of dumbasses.

I have seen no one here saying that we didn't know about Saddam's use of chemical weapons. Of course he had them and he used them with our tacit approval against the Iranians.

alas... there was no threat of any recurrence. I suspected as much, and KNEW that Bush was LYING when he stated, AS FACT, that "there was no doubt" that Saddam possessed stockpiles of such weapons.

No you didn't know Bush was lying because you're a lying leftists hyper partisan asshat.

Why do you feel compelled to bombard this forum with incredible lies and distortions and think that you won't get called on it? Are you really THAT dumb?

everyone with a brain and a high school education that included english comp knows that Bush lied. He stated, as a fact, that there was no doubt that Saddam had stockpiles of WMD's. That fact was, on its face, not a fact. There WAS doubt about those stockpiles within Bush's own intelligence organizations. Ergo... to say that doubt did not exist was clearly a lie.

Explain how it could be otherwise construed without mangling the meaning of words.

Bush didn't say that HE had no doubt... he said that THERE WAS NO DOUBT. the first is a statement of opinion.. the second, a statement of fact. and the second was a lie, because there WAS doubt.. sorry. Is English your second language, perhaps?

So did all these Democrat asshat liars who were for the war before they were against it. Now if you are going to act like an asshat hyper partisan loony tune, at least be consistent and denounce EVERYONE who made the identical claims; including our allies.

Dismissed dimwit. No wonder you voted for Obama; you're an incredibly dumb low information voting fool who mindlessly parrots DNC talking points and spreads their lies like a gullible fool.

“One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line.”

- President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998

“If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction program.”

- President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998

“We must stop Saddam from ever again jeopardizing the stability and security of his neighbors with weapons of mass destruction.”

- Madeline Albright, Feb 1, 1998

“He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983.”

- Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998

“[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq’s refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs.”

Letter to President Clinton.

- (D) Senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, others, Oct. 9, 1998

“Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process.”

- Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998

“Hussein has … chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies.”

- Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999

“We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandate of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and th! e means of delivering them.”

- Sen. Carl Levin (D, MI), Sept. 19, 2002

“We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country.”

- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

“Iraq’s search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power.”

- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

“We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction.”

- Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002

“The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October of 1998. We are confident that Saddam Hussein retains some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare capabilities. Intelligence reports indicate that he is seeking nuclear weapons…”

- Sen. Robert Byrd (D, WV), Oct. 3, 2002

“I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force — if necessary — to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security.”

- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002

“There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years … We also should remember we have always underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction.”

- Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D, WV), Oct 10, 2002

“In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members … It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons.”

- Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

“We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has, and has had for a number of years, a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction.”

- Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL), Dec. 8, 2002

“Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime … He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation … And now he is miscalculating America’s response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction … So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real…”

- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Jan. 23. 2003

Wrong dipshit; once again you illustrate what a prolific lying asshole you are by constantly repeating your moronic leftist talking points. Why are you such a prolific lying asshat? Just can't seem to help yourself or you really are THAT stupid?

Here, maybe if you hear your fellow lying leftist asshats you get a clue:

Moron.

again...words have meanings. none of those quotes state as an incontrovertible fact that Saddam has stockpiles of WMD's. sorry.

I have seen no one here saying that we didn't know about Saddam's use of chemical weapons. Of course he had them and he used them with our tacit approval against the Iranians.

That's because you are willfully stupid and ingorant. When you leftists assholes were asked why we had to bomb Syria and yet not Saddam when he gassed thousands, the answer back was "we didn't know then."

So run along with your clueless comments that illustrate that you are more inclined to be a prolific liar and incredible hyper partisan asshat than anyone interested in honest debate.

Moron.

Didn't Bill Clinton bomb Iraq to destroy WMD after the first Gulf War?

Yeah, but when he did it in 1998, it was a surgical strike directed pointedly at....a....milk factory?

In Sudan he had the terrorists on the run when he bombed an aspirin factory; the man is legend.

Moron.

I never said any such thing. I am fully aware of Saddam's use of chemical weapons and of our country's tacit approval of that use against the Iranians.

and quit with the fucking ad hom's asshole. I never lie about anything.

Translation: Maineman; "sorry but I am a brain dead asshat that refuses to acknowledge facts even when they are thrown at my thick empty head because I really am THAT stupid. "

Carry on dumbass; you're truly a waste of bandwidth being this dumb. But you are an asset to the idiots in the DNC who need morons like you to keep voting for them.

and I am fully aware that when Bush said "there is no doubt that Saddam possesses stockpiles of WMD's" he was lying. He was well aware of the doubt that existed within his own intelligence community when he made that statement.

you know you've won when your opponent is reduced to stupidly "translating" your words rather than intellectually refuting them.

what a fucking loser you are.

I didn't say you said it; I said your fellow lefttard asshats made those claims. Idiots like you can't keep their lies or massive fabrications straight.

And no asshat; our adminstration didn't knowingly approve of Saddams use of chemical weapons. But you're a major dumbass; you're impervious to reality, truth or facts.

On December 23, 2005, a Dutch court sentenced Frans van Anraat, a businessman who bought chemicals on the world market and sold them to Saddam’s regime, to 15 years in prison. The Dutch court ruled that Saddam committed genocide against the people of Halabja; this was the first time a court described the Halabja attack as an act of genocide. On 12 March 2008, the government of Iraq announced plans to take further legal action against the suppliers of chemicals used in the poison gas attack.

Dumbass.

No dimwit; just showing what an incredibly dense idiot and fool you are when you parrot such moronic leftist asshat talking points in a vacuum of reality, the truth or the facts.

But you're a dumbass devoted to a hyper partisan agenda of a failed ideology; you can't help but be a prolific liar.

1991, the United States of America entered Iraq and destroyed large stockpiles of chemical weapons and destroyed the means to manufacture them, sanction were imposed to the point that in 1998 the United States ask that the inspections be discontinued.

No chemical weapons were used on the troops or found in Iraq in 2003 when the United States once again invaded and this time occupied Iraq.

George Bush was convinced by his administration. It was obvious why Bush was picked as a candidate and used by the likes of Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld, Cheney Pearle and Bolton. Bush was guilty of stupidity. He wanted to get Saddam. Weapons of Mass destruction was a way they could sell the war to the people and indeed, they did.

Another dimwitted version of events in order to promote a lie based on a hyper partisan agenda.

So were all these guys lying as well?

Amazingly, there are still liberals and democrats repeating the “Bush lied about WMDs” mantra. Let’s put it to rest once and for all. Before we went to war in Iraq, what did DEMOCRATS say about the connection between Saddam and WMDs?

I never saw anyone on here make the claim that Saddam never used chemical weapons. Can you link me to such a post, or am to simply take your word for it?
