Well, then I give up...there is absolutely nothing I can say to a comment like that....nothing that wouldn't be a waste of time

You win, Rana.....

Some friend of hers told her she "knew her politics" and they haven't been able to shut her up since.

This is what we're experiencing from reading her tripe!

"In fiscal year 2001, which ended in September 2001 but was mostly set in place before President Bush took office, the federal government spent $1,863 billion. After seven years of Bush and a Republican Congress, spending was more than a trillion dollars higher -- $2,983 billion in FY2008. Then the financial crisis, TARP, the stimulus, and the omnibus spending bill came along, and FY2011 spending is estimated at $3,819 billion -- $836 billion more than just three years earlier, and $1,956 billion more than when Bush took office a decade ago."

didn't Obama top that in February of 09?......

/boggle.....you didn't really say that did you?.....

Factcheck.org said it, as plainly indicated by the link at the bottom of the post.

Had you actually read the post, you'd have known that.

Here's the link again. http://www.factcheck.org/askfactcheck/during_the_clinton_administration_was_the_federal.htmlI made it larger so you wouldn't miss it this time.

All refudiations should be addressed to http://www.factcheck.org/contact/

all the more reason to consider FactCheck a hoax......nobody in their right mind would believe that the federal deficit was erased during Clinton's administration....

Good to hear from a conservative, especialy a birther, that Clinton wasn't overspending.

Oh, he overspent revenue every single year in office. However he and the republican congress were able to cut it to the lowest amount ever. The "record surplus" never was realized, but that was the closest we came to actually paying down some of our debt since 1959.
