GOP Congressman Scolds Trump Over Disastrous Zelensky Meeting: ‘A Bad Day’

Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE) scolded President Donald Trump over his Oval Office tirade against Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday, calling it “a bad day for America’s foreign policy.”

Bacon wasn’t pleased with Trump's performance, and deemed it “a bad day for America’s foreign policy.”

“Ukraine wants independence, free markets and rule of law. It wants to be part of the West. Russia hates us and our Western values. We should be clear that we stand for freedom,” argued Bacon.

Trump had previously falsely accused Zelensky of being a dictator responsible for starting the war between Ukraine and Russia, despite the fact that Zelensky was duly elected and the conflict began when Russia launched an invasion of Zelensky’s country in early 2022.

We were only against Putin invading foreign countries in the 1990's?
Putin wasn't the Russian president in the 1990's, Walter.

Get a clue, Walter.
