i am actually self diagnosed. But one time in college my friend gave me some adderal to study and I was fucking blown away. If that's how normal people function when they have to do work then I was really fucked over growing up.

Honestly I did better when I wasn't on Adderall than when I was on it. I'm way too focused on minutia on Adderall and just can't sit back, relax, and see the full picture. I mean on Adderall I'd do things like think about a single sentence my professor had said for a few minutes and examine it in detail, and miss all the other shit they were saying in the meantime because of it. While if I weren't on Adderall I probably would've understood just as well and just would've listened to the rest of it.
