Look, it was a huge scandal at the time, the House even passed a reprimand. I just tried to put it into some current context. His home district didn't care that he spent time with a hooker who used his own apartment for a prostitution ring.

it probably happened before i got politically active so i did not pay attention to it as he was not my congress critter

A reprimand for fixing traffic tickets. The panel found he had no knowledge of illegal activities. He was investigated and exonerated.

Did the complaint involve other male prostitutes or just his partner? If his partner was involved in prostitution it makes sense Frank didn't know or he would have kicked the guy out unless it was one big orgy.

Ahh, a prostitution ring. Unless Frank witnessed what was going on it would be easy for his partner to keep the activities quiet. We're looking at guilt by association which isn't a good thing.
