"Goldman Sachs is not afraid of the government, because they are the government"

I agree with Moore's statement. Granted, it's easy for me to do so, because he's talking about Goldman Sachs rather than Exxon-Mobile or Halliburton.

no surprise you can't answer a simple question. let me guess....bush, bush, bush.

the question is pertinent to the thread, the fact you lie once again, says much about your beliefs onceler.

I've said Obama is complicit - his hands aren't clean. His admin is as run by corporations as any.

But, that is the ONLY thing that matters to you. You're too unintelligent to address the larger issue. Your schtick is old, and boring.

? do you ever make sense ?

when i comment on obama = obsession. when you comment on obama =/= obsession.

why are you such a dishonest hack? why can't you simply debate the thread instead of focusing all your energy on attacking me?

Matt Stoller at Republic Report has uncovered a very intriguing document showing that the drone plane manufacturing industry is writing the legislation that governs their use in the United States. They openly brag about it:

Drones are mainly associated with the Predator airships that patrol the Afghanistan sky. But thanks to a bipartisan vote last week, the public can expect 30,000 domestic drones flying over the United States in the next eight years...

Yesterday, we reported how the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVS), a drone trade group, actually doubled its recent lobbying expenses. Today, we report on a PowerPoint presentation put together by top AUVS lobbyists Michael Toscano, Mario Mairena, and Ben Gielow. The lobby group — which maintains an official partnership in Congress with Reps. Buck McKeon (R-CA), Henry Cuellar (D-TX), and dozens of other lawmakers — was the driving force behind the domestic drone decision passed last week. In the presentation obtained by Republic Report, there are several fascinating concerns raised by the lobbyists.

A bill written by industry lobbyists attempting to remove protections for sea turtles provided under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) was released on May 9 by Senator Slade Gorton (R-WA) and cosponsored by Richard Shelby (R-AL) and Bennett Johnston (D-LA). The bill introduced in the Senate (S. 768) is yet another attempt to turn back the clock on important environmental protections and weaken the ESA. This is expected to be the primary ESA bill in the Senate this year

Two examples of legislation written industry. There are hundreds of thousands of such examples available to anyone capable of googling.

To suggest otherwise is disingenuos at best, absurd at worst.
