So he’s responsible for her not understanding he’s protesting against police abuse of power when he has been very clear about that. How is that?
 
Another thread by people who lack comprehension. The protests have absolutely nothing to do with the flag or the military. Nothing, zero, nada. Kaepernick was protesting police abusing and killing black people. Most of the front line soldiers are black people. They fight in the service at a greater proportion that whites. This is not about patriotism. It is about police shooting and killing unarmed blacks. Just that , only that. Kap was told by a Vet that taking a knee was what soldiers do when a fellow soldier get killed in action. That is why he started kneeling.He was taking a knee for the blacks who are getting killed by police. So exactly how is that not patriotic. Protesting is a constitutional right. You guys don't believe in the constitution? Then you do not love America.

He would do well to ask her about the black veterans who returned home with no right to vote, and no right to eat in 'whites only' restaurants, or use 'whites only' bathrooms.
