How am I being defensive? What bothers me is your nitpicking on few words Biden says and doubting his cognitive state DESPITE his near perfect and flawless SOTU speech. If, as you claimed, he is in cognitive decline, it would have been so obvious throughout his speech.

The dementia card is no longer in play, for anyone familiar w/ that terrible affliction.
Biden has spoken the same way for decades. There is no visible decline whatsoever. People have been saying that for years at this point - if he really had dementia, he'd be at a different stage by now.
