I know. You sent me crime statistics for Boise (or Idaho). Not bad. Why would Californians what to go to Boise? They don't seem to have the cultural diversity CA has. Or is the homeless population larger in Boise now and that's why they're moving there?
Whatever the fuck you mean by “cultural diversity”. The metropolitan population is 710,000.
One can be fishing in the unpolluted river that runs through town or be snow skiing in the resort 16 miles away. Even Sun Valley is only a couple hours away. Water skiing or sailing in the reservoir just out of town. Tons of concerts, plays or whatever you like, year round. The local college football team is a perennial power. Minor league baseball is here. Hockey, too.
Jazz festivals, Shakespeare festivals, Beer festivals, Hot Air Balloon Festival and the best of all, the Basque Festival. A beautiful Performing Arts Center.
Mild weather. Low rain, low snow. No torrential rains, floods, blackouts, tornadoes, hurricanes, or other disastrous weather that I observe every where else in the country.
Low crime. Low unemployment. Good schools. Homeless population is low. Building everywhere.
So, stay wherever you are. We’re doing just fine here without that “cultural diversity”.
