So how does this work?

American taxpayers bail out failing union company GM, who in turn ships jobs overseas to China, whose government then lends us money, we in turn then use the borrowed money to bail out failing union companies....

It's a great arrangement, if the ultimate goal is to collapse our society.

"We are investing wisely and accelerating our vehicle development and manufacturing to keep pace with market demand. In total we are investing $12 billion between 2014 and 2017," Matt Tsien, president of GM China, said at the Auto China show in Beijing.

GM plans to build five more plants in China next year, as part of its efforts to ramp up manufacturing capacity there by 65 percent by 2020, executives said on Sunday.

Gm sucks balls no doubt!
But I love it
Google globalism it adds jobs.
China will contribute big to my gains this year.

Why are you bitching? It's what Republicans are all about... cheap labor. You should be overjoyed that the 1% are making huge profits on the backs of labor. And yes the whole idea of globalization is to turn the U.S. into a 3rd world country and suck what wealth is left to the top. I've been saying this since the mid 90's. Are you just realizing this?

And what will shutting ourselves off to rest of the world economically do for our country?

I see a stroll down memory lane is necessary:

DURHAM, N.H. – President Obama today doubled down on his attack on Mitt Romney as an “outsourcing pioneer,” directly rebutting comments made Sunday by the Republican nominee’s advisers Eric Fehrnstrom and Ed Gillespie in network news interviews.

“Just last week it was reported that Gov. Romney’s old firm owned companies that were ‘pioneers’ in the business of outsourcing American jobs to places like China and India. So yesterday, his advisers were asked about this and they tried to clear this up by telling us there’s actually a difference between ‘outsourcing’ and ‘off-shoring,’” Obama said, drawing laughter and boos from the crowd of 1,200 packed into the Oyster River High School gym.

“That’s what they said,” he quipped, “you cannot make this stuff up.”

Indeed, you can not make this stuff up.

It's not black and white. No one wants to shut ourselves off to the rest of the world, but protecting American labor from slave labor Republicans would be a good place to start. Doing away with insane trade agreements would also be a good place to start.

So what is the problem with the trade agreements we have today that you would like to see changed?

And it's funny you call them slave labor Republicans when Bill Clinton signed NAFTA and supported free trade and you support his wife for President who as of now we have no reason to believe she'll be much different on this issue.

Who said I support Hillary? Yes Clinton signed it but Reagan started it and Bush I pushed it along. So what? Everybody knows the Clintons are more conservative than progressive.

So Romney's advisors tried to claim that there's a difference between ‘outsourcing’ and ‘off-shoring in order to deflect attention from the outsourcing that Romney had done. More bullshit from the right, so what?

There is a difference between outsourcing and off-shoring. If my small business wants to outsource our H.R. work we're not sending jobs overseas. Should my (hypothetical) firm be forced to hire an H.R. department instead?

So, when WE want all our products made in America it's good, but if China wants their products made there it's bad?

You said she's more conservative that you would like but you would support her.

What's wrong with the trade agreements we have? Is it your belief everything sold in the U.S. should be made in the U.S.?

I object to the term Human Resources. Humans aren't resources to be used and discarded.

In business as in life you get what you pay for.

SMH. Ok, use lawyers if it makes you feel better. Not every business has an in house lawyer. Should businesses be forced to hire one in house and not outsource that work?

Trade agreements, while typically touted as good for the economy and therefore employment, have had the effect of pitting American workers against competitors in low wage countries, thereby driving wages down in the U.S.

And Crash you still haven't described what is wrong with our current trade agreements. Rana feel free to answer since you agreed with him.
