How is increasing gas demand going to make the price go down?

Prices also go down when supply increases. It is also far easier to increase oil and gas supplies than it is to make wind and solar--for example--economical. Also, if you lower demand sufficiently prices will again rise due to low demand and scarcity.

I still do not totally understand why we didn't see the same rampant inflation after the 2008 calamity. It must have something to do with the velocity of money then compared to now, but I also think we may be at the end game now, and that is why things are starting to spiral. If true, they will keep getting worse as the fed probably is powerless. smoke and mirrors
