Giuliani Sat for Voluntary Interview in Jan. 6 Investigation

"There is no honor among thieves." -- some smart guy

The fact that the interview was voluntary is interesting, don't you think?

I am not convinced that Rudy Tootie is backing off his Conspiracy Theories or lies. But, I do believe that he is as bad, if not worse than Donald Trump about spilling the beans every time he faces a jury panel, prosecutor, or Journalist.

Remember the philosophy our parents taught us about how one lie leads to 1,000 more lies? There is just no way Rudy can keep all of his lies straight now, even if he tried. If anything, more than likely, Rudy has perjured himself by now, and made things much worse for Donald Trump, and several crooked lawyers, with his big mouth, whether he intended to or not. There is no telling who all will be indicted now!

Hope they indict, arrest, try, convict, and incarcerate every last member of that swamp. Drain the swamp, indeed!

Poor Trump

Giuliani 'has every incentive to spill his guts' in Jan. 6 case against Trump: ex-federal prosecutor

"Here's why I think that Giuliani is indeed seeking to cooperate," wrote Aftergut, a former federal prosecutor and currently of counsel with Lawyers for American Democracy. "First, however nonsensical Giuliani’s past thinking and public utterances have been, facing prosecution tends to focus the mind. Giuliani likely sees his freedom at risk because he was so central to Trump’s attempt to overturn the 2020 election before January 6th."

'Mafioso' Trump doesn't have the leverage to keep people from flipping on him: columnist

Donald Trump likes to run his operation in a "mafioso" fashion, but the former president no longer has the leverage needed to keep people silent, according to Rolling Stone columnist Jay Michaelson.

Michaelson was on CNN Thursday evening to discuss Trump's mounting legal woes, and said the whole thing is starting to feel like "a house of cards."

That's the problem, IMO. He's such a nut and has such a history of batshit statements, he's no good to anyone as a witness. He's like Michael Cohen - you need more than his testimony as evidence.

That is not true at all.

HIs testimony alone, uncorroborated wold not mean much but this is a big sprawling case, where we know there are already multiple cooperating witnesses (fake electors, etc) who are providing their testimony. So where Rudy information cooperates and builds on what they offer is very important despite his reputation or trustworthiness.

For example lets say you have Fake Electors, saying in undisclosed testimony, 'we got calls from people claiming to be working with POTUS on fraud in the election, and we need you, as patriots to be willing to step in as (fake) electors, for when we expose this and win our cases, to save our democracy', and many of the fake electors corroborate that type of line used across many states....

And then you have Giuliani, who is now cooperating but has not seen any of the others testimony saying 'yes we had a plan devised by John Eastman, to create template forms and template responses, as we solicited and convinced people in each State to submit themselves as (fake) electors'...

That above would be very significant evidence against Eastman (whoever) even if Rudy is seen as a joke. That he can speak to a top down plan that corroborates and matches what was actually done ground up, is considered very significant evidence in trials.

Between Georgia and now Smith investigations they have so many cooperating witnesses that the bottom up story, is mapped and near complete. They only need a few Top Down witnesses to match it up to start laying wide conspiracy charges. Rudy and Mark Meadows and other now have to take advice from their personal lawyers on whether they want to be on the side, in the defendant box, being tried, or in the Witness box, having cut a deal.

There will only be so many seats on the 'deal' side, and once full, everyone else goes to trial.

They shouldn't have been endangering lives by violently rioting.

Yup.

of all the police shootings we see, the Ashli Babbitt, was one of the rare ones where there is no question that it was a good and required shoot. Sadly.

Trump's main super power is to convince others to break laws for him, so he can distance himself and remain protected. That while he refuses his supporters help, when they eventually get caught, when he could have easily pardoned them all.

Trump thought about pardoning all the an6th insurrectionists and others who appealed to him for Pardons around Jan 6th but his personal lawyers warned him that if he did that, they could ALL be forced to testify against him without an ability to plead the 5th. They would have to tell all, once pardoned since they faced no personal liability and thus what they say could not be used against them. So Trump deliberately left them all to be charged and to fight pleading the 5th and thus protecting Trump too.

Back to the righteous shooting of Ashli, there simply was no way, with the congress people and their security chased and backed into the secure retreat area, that they could allow the violent insurrectionists to invade that space, outnumber the security by dozens to one, and thus every weapon the security have on them, then belong to the insurrectionists. The insurrectionists were continually using the ability to get close and overwhelm security, as a way to make the securities weapons useless or the new property of the insurrectionist who wants to take and use them.

So when Ashli refused many orders to stop and not enter, as she sought to lead waves of people into the room, shooting her became the ONLY option left. Had that officer instead refused, and allowed Ashli and the insurrectionist mob to overwhelm that space and take all the congress people as their hostages, that would have been a failure of policing.

It's also ironic that this is the only police shooting that the Magatards is crying about.

At some point, the Right Wing needs to realize what a bad example they are to follow.

And until they understand that lying is wrong, how can they be decent leaders?- How can they be decent Parents? Grandparents? Teachers? Citizens? Businessmen? Neighbors? Friends? Family Members? Christians?

And until they understand that breaking the law has circumstances, how can they be decent leaders?- How can they be decent Parents? Grandparents? Teachers? Citizens? Businessmen? Neighbors? Friends? Family Members? Christians?

How can the Republicans condone lying and breaking the law, and be decent leaders?- How can they be decent Parents? Grandparents? Teachers? Citizens? Businessmen? Neighbors? Friends? Family Members? Christians?

WHEN THE REPUBLICANS condone lying and breaking the law, WHAT MESSAGE DO THE REPUBLICANS SEND TO OUR CHILDREN, THEIR CONSTITUENTS, OR THE PEOPLE?

The children are asking questions!
