Girl's hand cut in 'Islamic hand sign' drill, teacher charged with assault

She must have done these Christian acts because she believes "spare the rod, spoil the child."

Pranee Andrus, a teacher from Narcoossee Elementary school in Osceola County, Fla., is accused of threatening to cut off students' tongues and dragging Phoenix Hanson, a 5-year-old boy with autism, across the floor, WFTV Reports.
According to the station, investigators say the alleged abuse occurred early last month when Andrus became upset with the boy for refusing to share his toys with other students.
"He tried to get away from her and he ran to a corner. (I'm) not sure, under a desk or something, and she went and drug him out by his leg, which caused him to get rug burn on his elbow," Phoenix's father, Craig Hanson, told the station.
The boy's mother, Nina Moreno, told WFTV that the teacher also tried to entice other students to physically abuse the 5-year-old.
"She would ask other students, 'Should I hit him?' You know? Then encouraged them to hit him and kick him," Moreno told the station.

Whats this have to do with indoctinating children into the Muslim religion during math class...?

minus the violence this teacher may have commited on the child what does the rest of this blather have to do with an assult?

And this ignorant stupidity is just too fuckin asinine to give a serious response......

There are bad teachers everywhere. Here in Anchorage, a teacher was dismissed for spankinga child with a wooden spoon because the child did not finish her lunch.

It is most unfortunate.

it is a untrustable source.

you need to wash your elbows because shoving your arm up your rectum that far to get this trash has certain effects

The teacher was going over Islamic hand signs with the children — she stayed on this issue for two days straight during their reading and math class,” Bennett said.

Oh, that is what you are upset about, not the actual abuse of the child, but the subject matter being taught. I find the abuse to be the problem, you have exposed yourself.

You can't separate the two...if the teacher was teaching reading and math, this shit probably would not have happened in the first place.....
forcing the kids to pray with her, etc. is outright indoctrination....
teaches them about Islam and how it is superior to other religions
'indoctrinating' students with Islamic teachings,"
and openly campaigns for Barack Obama in the classroom.

There is so much more wrong here than the girl accidentally catching her finger on the metal wire on her file folder....that was obviously unintentional and
its doubtful it will have criminal consequences....

It certaily doesn't reach the level of beating a child with a wooden spoon because the child did not finish her lunch.

You can seperated the two. I saw a lot of abuse in school, Catholic school. It wasn't the religion, it was the individual's who were disturbed and used corporal punishment to try to get "proper" behavior from students.

The spoon abuse happened at the largest Chistian school in Anchorage. It wasn't the fact that these children were being indoctrinated, it was the fact that this teacher had issues.

This wasn't 'corporal punishment' .......this was an accident where the girl was injured.....she wasn't being beaten or anything of the sort....
corporal punishment was very common in both public and parochial schools in the years past...long past..... and was condoned and accepted and expected
by parents years ago.....If I was hit by a teacher in school I could expect the same when I got home for not behaving.....
Today, its the exception to the rule.......

Its irrelevant in this case.....

One can be upset about both, it isn't like the upset over one thing can push out the upset over the other. The abuse is bad, that it was done in the name of a state sponsored teacher trying to indoctrinate children into her religion during math and reading is a bit more to choke on while you are upset over the other.

why do liberals like christie have to always pull up a christian doing something bad when someone points out a muslim doing something bad? notice they never counter with a muslim act when someone bashes christianity.

What exactly is an "Islamic hand sign"? I googled it and the only reference was to the article posted, and other sites quoting the same article.
