Girl that stood up to taliban asks nobel peace prize obama to cut back on droning

Poor Malala....I expect she will get blasted to pieces by our boot licking lefties that adore the messiah
for daring to question his omnipotent wisdom.......Rana, Darla, Christiefan, Tekkychick, etc....

I also expect to not hear a word of this on any news newwork except Fox and maybe CNN

You must be drinking. When did any of us mentioned above criticize Malala? Take this comment from the article:

"Arriving in Washington to speak at two events, the teenager said that she asked the president to engage in greater co-operation with the Pakistani government."

Conservatives always hated... HATED... the idea that the US should "co-operate" with the nation that shielded bin Laden and harbored terrorists. Now you're doing a 180° turn because Obama, not bush, is the president.

Conservative hypocrisy gets me nauseated.

Did you miss the op....nobody is talking about co-operation between us and Pakistan....
Her comment was "I also expressed my concerns that drone attacks are fueling terrorism. Innocent victims are killed in these acts, and they lead to resentment among the Pakistani people"...........

Conservatives aren't forcing him to kill women and children in his quest to build a legacy about his war on terror....hes already gotten over
1600 or 1700 GI's killed in that armpit of the world....accomplishing nothing of value in return....
And your claim about how Cons feel about dealing with Pakistan is total bullshit on your part....its not 2001 anymore.

Bush negotiated our pull out of Iraq and maybe would have done the same with Afghanistan and Pakistan by now...
Liberal revisionist history and lies gets me nauseated.....

As to you first question, I NEVER said any of you did critize her ............ yet.
Now...don't you want to scold Malala for criticizing your hero...?...or have I totally shamed you out of it....?

Read the article itself bravs, she most certainly did talk about cooperation and I posted her comment.

"The inspiring 16-year-old from Pakistan has been lauded for her education and women’s rights activism, leading her to be hotly-tipped for the Nobel Peace Prize which was issued on Friday.

Arriving in Washington to speak at two events, the teenager said that she asked the president to engage in greater co-operation with the Pakistani government. ‘I thanked president Obama for the United States’ work in supporting education in Pakistan and Afghanistan and for Syrian refugees,’ she said.

‘I also expressed my concerns that drone attacks are fuelling terrorism. Innocent victims are killed in these acts, and they lead to resentment among the Pakistani people. If we refocus efforts on education it will make a big impact.’

Furthermore, I don't have to go back to 2001 to talk about our dealings with Pakistan. Here's an article from seven months ago.

"...there is universal agreement that relations between Islamabad and Washington have never been worse. Put simply, neither nation holds much if any respect for the other, and the people of both countries dislike, if not despise, each other, numerous surveys show.

“The U.S.-Pakistani relationship is toxic,” said Daniel Markey, a former senior State Department official focusing on South Asia, now with The Brookings Institution. “And my sense is that it’s unlikely to change.”

“Each country considers the other to be a terrible ally,” Haqqani asserted."

I would still like somebody to tell me what the alternative is to using drones? Using Special Forces is incredibly dangerous and likely to provide valuable propaganda value if it goes wrong, think Black Hawk Down.

drones aren't the problem per se' they're just another way to war. The problem is using them on HOUSES, and the signature strikes.

They also LOITER over areas causing "great mental anguish" (Paki villiager). Can you imagine these things loitering around, and creating terror in the populace?

If the drone use was more rare, more directed towards really high value targets, only, in a situation that doesn't kill innocents;
the Malala's statement about "creating terror" wouldn't hold water.

But it does, because of the way we use them. Oh. and those signature strikes are just asking for "suspected militants" collateral damage

A similar thread was posted two days ago. We didn't criticize her then and we aren't criticizing her now. You guy are getting desperate to pin something hateful on the libs, huh.

Future tense is still confusing you, huh?

And who specified "only" JPP liberals? There must be more than 30 of you in the world, surely?

Want me to scout the interwebs and find some examples as they occur?

P.S. evasion of my question noted.

Why do I have to correct your every post....
I NEVER claimed she didn't talk about those things....I said the op was about a specific quote concerning DRONES....not about every other thing she talked about
at the event.

If you want to change the subject, open another thread...

Pretty lame try .... you don't even present you strawmen with any pizazz........or can you really not read what is written in a post and get what
the subject matter is....sad either way.

not really, Bush cooperated with Paki:Obama did too, They are vipers not to be trusted, or partnered with.

I don't even recall any Paki gov't cooperation on the bin_Laden raid by Paki, but I might be wrong..

More strawman crap ?

No one said you criticized her....we're wondering IF you all will criticize her for making Obama look sorta like as ass....rightfully scolded by a mere child...lol

I've already shamed you out of it....you wouldn't dare defend "the one" now....just forget it ever happened.

Let's have a quick recap here.

Bravs wrote: Poor Malala....I expect she will get blasted to pieces by our boot licking lefties that adore the messiah
for daring to question his omnipotent wisdom.......Rana, Darla, Christiefan, Tekkychick, etc....

I responded: "When did any of us mentioned above criticize Malala?" followed by "A similar thread was posted two days ago. We didn't criticize her then and we aren't criticizing her now."

Ergo, if we didn't criticize her on a similar thread two days ago, we're not going to criticize her on this threat either. Clear?

And when bravs writes " our boot licking lefties that adore the messiah for daring to question his omnipotent wisdom.......Rana, Darla, Christiefan, Tekkychick, etc..", he is not referring to anonymous liberals around the country but specifically to four liberal women on JPP. Es que claro?

When is the major party in the House going to pull its thumbs out and cooperate with Obama?

Just because you haven't yet, that doesn't mean you won't...does it?

Clear?

Another attempt to hijack the thread ?
