Gingrich, leader of fight to impeach Clinton, calls Kelly out

A top aide to Donald Trump made an apparent threat against Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly over a contentious interview with former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, drawing more attention to the Republican presidential candidate's troubles with women.Dan Scavino, a senior aide to the Trump campaign, attacked Kelly late Tuesday after she sparred with Gingrich in a primetime interview regarding news coverage of allegations made by women against Trump -- and whether it compares fairly to stories about the ongoing release of hacked emails from top aides to Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

...Moments later, Scavino tweeted that Kelly "made a total fool out of herself tonight- attacking @realDonaldTrump. Watch what happens to her after this election is over."

He has not yet specified what Kelly could face.

"Watch what happens to her" is a threat ? How many moons does your planet have ?

Megan's contract is coming up for renewal....she wants more than 20,000,000 dollars from Fox as her salary.....so I'll say the same thing, "watch what happens to her".....

Even MSNBC's Rachel Maddow beat Kelly's ratings a few times recently....so let's watch together....she may have a new show on that network....

Trump and his campaign claim that Clinton “gave” or “handed over” 20 percent of American uranium rights to the Russians. Through the Uranium One deal, the Russian state-owned nuclear energy company does now have control over 20 percent of U.S. uranium extraction capacity. But it cannot export the uranium.

In 2010, the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States approved the sale of the majority of the shares to the Russians. The State Department was one of nine agencies on the committee that approved the deal. The deal was also separately approved by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. There is no evidence Clinton herself got involved in the deal personally, and it is highly questionable that this deal even rose to the level of the secretary of state. Theoretically, as Schweizer says, Clinton could have intervened. But even then, it ultimately would have been Obama’s decision whether to suspend or block the deal.

We wavered between Three and Four Pinocchios. Trump so often uses broad-brushed language that pushes him into Four Pinocchio territory, and this is yet another one of those cases. He specifically names Hillary Clinton as the active agent in the Uranium One deal, saying she “gave them” or “handed over” uranium to the Russians, but that is not the case. Then, he further claimed the sale went forward in exchange “for a big payment.” There’s no evidence for that claim either.

Trump could have avoided so many Pinocchios had he been more careful with the language. For example: “Hillary Clinton’s State Department was one of nine agencies that approved the deal.” Words matter.

Four Pinocchios

In 2009, Russia’s nuclear energy agency, Rosatom, began buying shares in Uranium One as a part of a larger move to acquire mines around the world. Rosatom first bought a 17 percent share of Uranium One, which has holdings in the United States. In 2010, the Russians sought to increase their share to 51 percent. The Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission approved the deal. In 2013, Russia assumed 100 percent ownership.

The deal gave Russia control of about 20 percent of U.S. uranium extraction capacity, according to a 2010 CNN article about the deal. In other words, Russia has rights to the uranium extracted at those sites, which represents 20 percent of the U.S. uranium production capacity.

Trump must have promised you a job in his administration if he wins. It would be hard to explain such hackery otherwise.

It's the same article, dummy. The Pinocchios are WaPo's way of categorizing lies.

It was also in Politifact.

it's hearsay in terms of the court of public opinion.
I'm not using a legal definition, but a common parlance: "information received from other people that one cannot adequately substantiate; rumor."

We're not talking about rumor, here. We're talking about direct accusation by the accusers themselves. No matter how you try to square that circle, it's not hearsay. But let's move on, shall we?

my point. we don't know nothing.
yet the media presents it as gospel truth parroting the Clinton campaign.

We know there are a number of women who are providing first-hand accusations of sexual assault. That's what we know at this point. We do not know whether or not it is true or false. The accused, however, has done himself no favors by making comments bragging about actually committing sexual assault.

as did Clinton on her emails

This is not a thread about Hillary Clinton lying (which she certainly does), nor is it justification to say, "Hillary did it, so Donald can do it!" or vice versa.

are you speaking of the Clintonistas??

No, I very specifically referenced Trump's surrogates and supporters. You know the ones. The ones who think, "She did it, so he can do it!" (or vice versa) is an excuse for being an ass; or is some kind of justifiable defense for repugnant and depraved behavior. In essence, I was referring to stupid people.

I do condemn it, but Hillary is not guilty of misogyny where is you are by supporting Trump an admitted sexual predator.
I do not support Bill Clinton's predatory actions. I feel bad for both Hillary and Melania, and do not criticize their reasons for staying with their husbands.

You support Trump and his misogyny and you aren't married to him.

Trump denied everything while Slick Willy is the one that confessed.....maybe you got them confused.

There are those who claim it was not consensual, they must be given the benefit of the doubt till they are proven false.

Do you give Juanita Broadrick, Kathleen Willey, and Paula Jones the benefit of the doubt before you voted for Bill Clinton.....

you remember the ones Hillary called 'bimbos'....

I suppose you think YOUR record for credibility is better than Trump's......

Oh, please.

Jim Jones' record for credibility is better than Trump's.

Bernie Madoff has more credibility than Donald Trump.

And speaking of Madoff, hell, Charles Ponzi had more credibility than Donald Trump.

Richard Nixon? More credibility than Donald Trump.

Herodotus had more credibility than Donald Trump.

Donald Trump's credibility is so low that DINOSAUR BONES have to dig for it.

Deplorable, despicable, dumbass

You're an idiot.

Donald Trump is running for President of the United States.

You're aware of that right?

And the Obama's HONOR these rappers.....whats your point ?....

Whats worse, what the Obama's DO compared to you imagine Trump is accused of ?

It's not inconsistent. You're silly.

I'm talking about a guy who could be President. And you come back w/ "what about this rapper?"

I mean, if you can't see the absurdity in that...
They are endorsed by the current president and the FLOTUS ffs presumably because it gives them street credit.

1. You don't actually know what "hearsay" is, do you?

2. We don't know if the claims are usubstantiated.

3. Of COURSE he denied it. The problem is he CONSTANTLY denies things there's actual video of him saying and/or doing. You never know if he's ever NOT lying.

4. Of COURSE his surrogates will defend everything he does. They are as blind and brainless as his supporters.
Excuse me sonny, have you heard if the 5th Amendment?

Melania Trump has condemned the women who have come forward with claims of sexual misconduct at the hands of her husband. Trump's third wife backed her husband's vow to sue his accusers.

"They were lies, and as I said before, all the accusations should be handled in a court of law," Donald Trump told the ABC anchor.

Stephanopoulos then turned to Melania, asking her: "So you believe the lawsuit should go forward?"

"Yes, I believe that," she replied.

No evidence the Sec. of State was involved ?....Well, we don't know what she DID DO...we only know what she DIDN'T DO, and that is
my point.....silence is consent for person's in powerful positions that just sit back and do nothing....

The State Department was one of nine agencies on the committee that approved the deal.

you have no problem in the character assassination of Trump without 'evidence'....

There's plenty of evidence of Trump's ugliness to make anyone assassinate the little character he has. How do you spin this one?

She's a stunning blond with a law degree. Does good in front of a camera. Can handle two rowdy guests at once. Not like she isn't talented.

But she doesn't know much more about policy and politics than a lot us do. A real journalist wouldn't get sucked into sex scandals---it's the lowest of low hanging fruit. Now, Catherine Herridge is an actual Fox journalist.

MeAgainKelly is a high-end Nancy Grace.
