Whatever it was I suspect it required her to:

Lie about Epstein's relationship with PP and Malania. Maybe to lie about other powerful people. I cannot imagine any other reason she has been given this extraordinary treatment.

When Epstein was convicted in Miami, he also had work release.

He was allowed out of the prison to go to work for 12 hours a day and then had to return to the prison.

So this is just an extension of the treatment he was afforded the first time by Alex Acosta, who Trump welcomed into his Cabinet in his first term. This was to keep Epstein silent. They gave him a short of amount of very easy time and then his release.

Now Trump is setting the same up for Maxwell.

It will end with her being pardoned at the end of Trumps term.

Wrong, Epstein was originally in State Prison, with different rules. Sent there under a deal with Alex Acosta in a very unusual deal, where he pled guilty in state court under a deal with the Feds. I have never seen that except in this one case.

I reread what you said, it was not wrong, I apologize.

State rules for assignment to work camps and house arrest (where Epstein served most of that sentence) are very different, and more lenient than in Federal prison, not an inch comparable.

The point being not only did Jeffrey Epstein get a sweet heart deal, in State court, with work release, to make his time as easy as possible...

Now we see Ghislain getting the same treatment. A sweet heart deal to get in Club Fed, followed by this rumoured work release, if that pans out and a likely pardon.

I cannot see any other option to 'buying silence' when it comes to why these two pedophiles, amongst the worst in American history would get any deal. Why not let them rot? Of course the fear of them 'telling all', when they have no hope, is why.

She has French, British, and US citizenship, so once legally unencumbered, she can freely move to France or the UK. Her criminal record might keep her from moving to other places, or she might be able to move anywhere else. If I were her, I would be afraid that trump would want to kill a witness against him.

France is probably the safest place for her.
