GERMAN railway company Deutsche Bahn (DB) is the favourite to win the huge contract for the United States’ first high-speed rail link, snatching the contract from the hands of Spanish company Renfe.

Considering the Spaniards had to try and cobble multiple companies together to do it, one is more efficient.
Still up in the air if it has any chance of succeeding. Who is left to pay the subsides to let a few ride this toy ?
