George Will: Trump won’t release tax returns because~show ties to Russian oligarchs

George Will believes Donald Trump won’t release his tax returns because they may show how deeply he’s involved with Russian oligarchs.

The Fox News contributor and conservative columnist, who left the Republican Party last month because he couldn’t support Trump, said Monday night that he believes the GOP’s nominee may have improper relationships with foreign investors, reported The Hill.

Russian agents are accused of hacking into the Democratic National Committee’s email servers and sharing private data, possibly to help Trump win the November election, which has underscored concerns about his campaign’s ties to the former Soviet Union.

Fox News anchor Bret Baier asked Will about those concerns, although he pointed out that even Democratic lawmakers have not drawn a direct link between Trump and Russia.

“Well, it’s the sort of thing we might learn if we saw the candidates’ tax returns,” Will said. “Perhaps one more reason why we’re not seeing his tax returns, because he is deeply involved in dealing with Russia oligarchs and others
. Whether that’s good, bad or indifferent, it’s probably the reasonable surmise.”

Thats actually funny....

Bill and Hillary Clinton and/or their foundation has raked in hundreds of millions of dollars from so many foreign countrys, it boggles the imagination......

but that raises no red flags with George Will or leftist that now believe what Mr. Will IMAGINES about Trump.....and it is his imagination, opinion, conjecture, and innuendo....

with absolutely zero proof, as it stands .....

Don't forget the Clinton Foundation and the Russian uranium deal.

Now you are NOT being funny, NoVA. It does not matter if the Clintion foundation 'raises red flags in your opinion, conjecture, and innuendo.... with absolutely zero proof, as it stands .....'

Do you accuse them of grifting? Do you think they are manipulating world conscientiousness? An accusation of buying influence?

That is not actually funny, NoVA. Your doubts about Bill and Hillary's honesty does not allow you to equate any possible speculation of Trump's attempted influence, whether true or not, to denigrate an actual beneficial foundation. Or do you 'actually' have proof of a corrupt foundation? My breath is more than bated.

Trumpski says he "barely remembers" Felix Sater, despite the facts that Sater's office is two floors below Trumpski's in Trumpski Tower, and the two were business partners.

Here Trumpski is with the Russki mobster he says he "barely remembers":

Ask the Trumpster. He's the one who won't release his tax returns, and gives Putin an "A" for his leadership.

Trump isn't making an issue out of it. Just imagine...just imagine the outrage if Trump was up to his knees in a Uranium deal with the Russians. Trump generates outrage at the mere speculation that his tax returns might show that he dealt with Russia or Russians.

I say big fricking deal if he did.

"And shortly after the Russians announced their intention to acquire a majority stake in Uranium One, Mr. Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock." [from NYT link]

Half a mil for a speech. You don't really think they paid your Sec State that much just to flap her jaws, right?

Big Bad Trump has business tie to the "Russian Oligarchs".
about the only thing that could mean anything is there is some ties to Russian bankers that are sanctioned because of Crimea.
More likely Trump has Russian holdings *gasp!*

Sure. that's the ticket. Bill and Yuri are cornering the caviar market. And Putin hacked the DNC because....

It all makes sense now..how could we have been so blind! :palm:

Well, if Trump wins the election because of Russian influence it will be 'fair and square' because politics is a tough business.

Just ask Bernie's people.

There you go again. "Just imagine."

Well, you imagine this - imagine Hillary talking about Putin like Trump does.

Clinton is bought and paid for by foreign interests, the Clinton Foundation is a slush fund.

The Clinton Foundation’s finances are so messy that the nation’s most influential charity watchdog put it on its “watch list” of problematic nonprofits last month.

The Clinton family’s mega-charity took in more than $140 million in grants and pledges in 2013 but spent just $9 million on direct aid.

The group spent the bulk of its windfall on administration, travel, and salaries and bonuses, with the fattest payouts going to family friends.

On its 2013 tax forms, the most recent available, the foundation claimed it spent $30 million on payroll and employee benefits; $8.7 million in rent and office expenses; $9.2 million on “conferences, conventions and meetings”; $8 million on fundraising; and nearly $8.5 million on travel. None of the Clintons is on the payroll, but they do enjoy first-class flights paid for by the foundation.

In all, the group reported $84.6 million in “functional expenses” on its 2013 tax return and had more than $64 million left over — money the organization has said represents pledges rather than actual cash on hand.

Okay, I imagined it lol.

Did you know Putin is the only world leader that even pretends to care that Christians are being exterminated in the Middle East? At the current rate, Middle East Christians will be extinct in 10 years or less. In a certain sense, Putin is the de facto leader of the west vs radical Islam. That's how dysfunctional and feckless western leadership has become. Churchill is rolling over in his grave. That isn't Belgium or Germany that's bombing the hell out of ISIS.

It's Vladimir Putin. I get what Trump is saying.

I bet you miss Acorn. You take down a charitable foundation, like you did with the community service organization that simply wanted to enfranchise voters. You want to take down Planned Parenthood because, well, they are in favor of planning, instead of just trusting that parenthood is god's will. Good on you. Bad on you.

LOL you didn't even read the article only $9 million went to charity the rest went into the pockets of Clintons friends and family! And FYI I'm a pro choice atheist so blow me.
