George Santos Is the Low-Rent Con Artist the Modern GOP Deserves

That's nice....doesn't change what I stated. Carlton, Hendrix, Vaughan and Lord knows how many others were pros in their early teens. Hell, did you know that actress Tia Carrera (spl) has a few Grammy awards? It's all about who you impress, etc. Like I said, Bonamossa is no slouch, but I've heard his act before by others and done better, IMHO.

Like the man said, there's no accounting for taste. So enjoy the music you like.

There's no accounting for taste

WTF does an actress have to do with a talented guitarist?
His act by others? Eleven of fifteen of his albums reached
No. 1 on the charts. Has any of those you named done that?

I brought up the actress to demonstrate that touting creds as you did does not translate in to superior talent. You were unaware of a Grammy given to someone who is essentially an A list actress. Likewise, there are a whole lot of folk who are unaware Bonamassa exists, much less not impressed with his music.

Who you know, whom you impress, right agent, right place, right time.

Currently, you had a "all time greats" list published, and people raised hell that certain artists weren't on that list. It is what it is.

I couldn't care less about the Grammys. They are irreverent.

To say Bonamassa isn't a talented guitarist that should be noted as one of the best blues guitarists is a show of musical ignorance. Fact,

So you only tout lists and awards that YOU like and dismiss anything else. Hardly objective, highly hypocritical.

Now YOU need to pay attention when you read, as I NEVER said Bonamassa "wasn't talented"....I just find his musical style redundant and an echo of those masters who came before him. To say he's the "best" blues guitarist is purely a subjective statement. I and others beg to differ....especially those who are older and have had a much wider range of music appreciation than you.

But it is what it is, and I'm not going to lose sleep over it or get into a pissing contest with you about it. Carry on.

Redundant? And you "claim" I have a limited "range of music appreciation"?
Apparently those who voted 11 of Bonamassa's 15 albums No. 1 on the blues
charts are "redundant" as well? I think not.
Now, I never said any of those guitarists you mentioned were not talented.
You failed to mention Eric Clapton (of which is one of the many extremely
talented blues guitarists Bonamassa played with), who IMO, is also one of
the best blues guitarists. Bonamassa, without question, is in his "league."

You've already done that dance, and I addressed it. You don't have to like it or agree with it. And along with Clapton I didn't mention a hell of a lot of other's that are just as good or better that Bonamassa....I just don't have the time to do so.

It's like this, kid.....every year you have the likes of Billboard and the AAM and the AMA come out with their lists....and they NEVER please everyone. That's it. You can have all the awards but not the consensus of the people.

Later.

What dance? I guess I'm supposed to bow to your "accomplished" knowledge of music, but I won't because you aren't as knowledgeable as you think you are. You should get out more, maybe go and see a concert instead of acting like an ass.
