And I though the classic definition of a recession was an array of indicators across the economy all showing slowdown over the course of several months, not two, several months. Unemployment rates alone debunks Fox’s propaganda

Ironic, a few weeks ago the right was telling us we were inflation, and now, we’re experiencing a recession, some even say both are happening at the same time, supposedly we got to much money out there yet economic growth is at a standstill. So, what’s happening with the money and how are people still obtaining money

The White House responded to Thursday’s second-quarter negative GDP growth with a coordinated message: The U.S. economy is not in a recession.

On Thursday, the Commerce Department’s Bureau of Economic Analysis reported that gross domestic product, the broadest measure of economic activity, fell 0.9% in the second quarter.

Coming on the heels of a 1.6% contraction in the first quarter, the two straight declines meet the most commonly used definition of a recession.
