GBI reviewing additional video footage in Ahmaud Arbery WHOOPS

What does that have to do with anything? Defending this is just idiotic. I know you badly want the white guys to be justified in killing the black guy, but it's simply not the case here.

He was criminally trespassing and when confronted he attacked the men placing him under a lawful citizens arrest. Should they allowed themselves to be disarmed?

The bottom line is, these two guys took the law into their own hands when they should've just called the cops. Period, end of story. A guy is dead, and this father and son will likely pay a heavy price for their actions. It's a lose, lose.

No they were making a lawful citizens arrest:

2010 Georgia Code
TITLE 17 - CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
CHAPTER 4 - ARREST OF PERSONS
ARTICLE 4 - ARREST BY PRIVATE PERSONS
§ 17-4-60 - Grounds for arrest
O.C.G.A. 17-4-60 (2010)
17-4-60. Grounds for arrest

A private person may arrest an offender if the offense is committed in his presence or within his immediate knowledge. If the offense is a felony and the offender is escaping or attempting to escape, a private person may arrest him upon reasonable and probable grounds of suspicion.

They had no business chasing the bad guy. They will go to prison for their stupidity.

Ya they did.

Was it their property? They could have called the cops and watched from a distance. Instead they chose to take their law into their own hands. I promise you they will regret that decision. They had no good reason to confront this individual, and in fact placed themselves in danger.

Let's see how that works out for them in court. Even if they somehow prevail, they will be bankrupted.

Care to place a wager on that? Say, fifty bucks to your favorite charity? The alleged "offense" wasn't a felony.
