Gays coming over to the Dark Side on guns

Do you think it makes us safe to have people carrying guns in bars?

There's guns in bars already. Well, maybe not so much in liberal areas lol. Around here there's a gun behind most bars.

Do you think gun laws make you safe? Do you think gun free zones make you safe?

Do you think people who carry are unhinged?

All it takes is 1. Why do you assume that people are talking about everyone w/ guns?

If everyone had a gun, all of the time, there would be more shootings. You've never seen a fight get out of control? Road rage? People who are normally fine who see red & just lose it?

You're two questions behind lol.

There are no perfect laws---or lack thereof. In your hypothetical, there would be more shootings via road rage. But there would be less mugging, decrease in armed robbery; no gun free zones for the Islamists and deranged shooters to gravitate to. So when you put it altogether it's kind of trade off with mixed consequences.

One consequence anti-gun bed wetters fail to consider is that making it harder for determined killers, like Omar Mateen, to obtain guns, just increases the probability they will turn to even more efficient manners of mass killing.

So go ahead and pass your laws if it makes you feel better. Just don't be deluded into thinking much is going to change.

America has millions of gun-free zones where hundreds of millions of people live, work, and play.

Seriously, hoplosexuals, if gun-free zones were a problem, you'd know it.

Bbbut you can't blame all the gun owners for the actions of a few.

But you can blame all the gun-free zones for the shootings in a few.

Just like you can blame all Muslims for the actions of a few.

And how many people get shot in America every year?

It is a problem. And we know it.

Do you want the numbers that are just legal gun owners or do you want the ones by criminals included?

How many people are injured in car accidents, every day?

*ugh* we need more guns like we need more holes in bodies.

Homicide rates are down 49% in the last 20 years whilst 130 million new guns were added to American's personal "arsenals" and the US population went up 46 million.

Homicide rates are at their lowest since the early 60's. For 2014 it was 4.5/100,000; ya gotta go back to 1963 to get near that (4.6/100,000) . . .

According to your feeling, how many hundreds of millions of more guns would we need to add to make the homicide rate go up?

you'd be hard pressed to show more guns = less homicides. That's a nice correlation -but do you think other factors are more important?

AAnd look at the current years of (many) cities having record homicide rates -why is it spiking?
