Gas up to 4.69 in my area today

Not good. In fact it will be over 6 here by sometime in July. Going to cause a whole lot of other products to rise right along with it. Thanks Joe! Ive heard the LIE said many times that the Democrats are the party for the poor. I wonder what so many of those poor Dems think now? NOVEMBER IS COMING.

Deal with the reality of it all compared to your trolling ignorance. You also have the option of riding a bike, walk or ride a horse:

American gas prices are among the lowest in industrialized nations because the federal government levies very few taxes on fuel.

Here’s a look at the 10 countries where gas is most expensive right now, according to GlobalPetrolPrices.com as of May 19:

COUNTRY PRICE PER GALLON IN U.S. DOLLARS
Hong Kong $10.966
Norway $9.643
Denmark $9.323
Central African Republic $9.031
Monaco $8.938
Finland $8.894
Iceland $8.755
Greece $8.709
Netherlands $8.582
Singapore $8.399

And another tard response that doesn't look at the real picture...

Because of massive taxes to pay for grandiose public transit systems that hemorrhage money and are grossly unprofitable to operate, gasoline in the places gemini listed is very expensive.

Your nonsense source is unsubstantiated and unofficial trolling rubbish! Also, the global comparison of gas prices is of 2022 and not stale dated from 1990 to 2017.

The Europeans have to pay that much because of all the added VAT and other taxes that are then used to subsidize all that public transit in their countries that can't make a profit and people really don't want to use if they have a choice. If they didn't have to pay onerous taxes on gasoline, their gas would be priced about the same as ours.

We need more and better public transportation as well. The Euros do it right.

Paid $3.55 for flex fuel in Franklin, KY this morning. Heading back to God’s country. The price for regular at that station was $4.19. So ridiculous.

No, we don't. Mass transit won't work in roughly 90% of the US in any case. Even in urban areas it's iffy at best due to lack of nodes and low population density compared to Europe and even moreso, Asia.

Guess you good ole boys are going to have to park the F250 Duallies for awhile

Its looking like natural gas supply and prices are going to be just as much a problem as gasoline.

And Electricity supply is now very iffy as well.

We are lead by infants.

Do you ever do anything but bitch? Can you just once offer a solution to the many problems (both real and imaginary) that you whine about?

90% of the US real estate is inhabited by what? 30% of the people? Where the people are, public transportation is the way to go for travel or commuting.
Private transportation is good for personal recreation but inefficient for necessary, repetitive movement.
