Gas prices in the news

Strange, based on what lefties claimed when Bush was President, it was his fault. Sad thing is when prices were up under Obama, suddenly the excuses started flying.

Bush's problem was that the price per barrel was too low for anyone to invest in rigs or exploration or drilling... and with Iraqi oil off the market for so long it appeared that Iraqi supply was hardly missed.

So you do admit Obama is to blame when gas prices went up during his administration. Thanks for finally coming around.

Supply also increased... because oilmen and investors were will to order drilling rigs and get to work. You truly are an idiot.

If we tagged the min wage to inflation, it would be close to 18 bucks an hour. If we had a higher min wage, our tax burden for food stamps and other programs to help the poor would greatly diminish.
The gas price is not that big a story, but why it is dropping is.

Just like Venezuela

Can't you idiots try to even control the sizes of your photos you post in the forum?

Talk about your idiots being out of control! LOL!

Just like Venezuela

Nothing like VZ.. VZ had a long string of military dictators and there was HUGE income disparity. The elite circle around the dictator were rich beyond imagination.. and everyone else was starving. Chavez and socialism were inevitable.

MADURO'S REICHSTAG FIRE MOMENT

"Explosives carried by drones" were detonated near Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his entourage at a military ceremony in what he called "an assassination attempt by right-wing foes".

Maduro was unharmed.

“It was an attempt to kill me, they tried to assassinate me today,” Maduro said on national television three hours after the incident, as his aides applauded him.

The president said suspects had been arrested but didn’t specify a number.

He vowed that others would be rounded up in what he said would be a harsh crackdown.

He blamed the government of Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos, who has been critical of growing repression in Venezuela, as well as unnamed right-wing forces in Florida.

He didn’t provide evidence for his assertions.

AMERICAN SOCIALISTS CRITICIZE TRUMP AND GLORIFY THIS PIG

Venezuela is in the midst of a massive food crisis, leaving millions starving in the wake of failed socialist policies similar to those proposed by American DEMOCRATS.

Yet, that State-induced famine did not stop Socialist President Nicolas Maduro from eating a snack during a television address.

Many have criticized Maduro for gaining weight during the country’s economic ruin.

It appears the proof is in the pudding.

After recording a TV address, Maduro believed that the camera was no longer rolling, so he reached into a drawer, and pulled out an empanada to take a few nibbles.

Venezuelan socialism is hailed by the American left as a glorious model of economic fairness.

DEMOCRAT Bernie Sanders said, "These days, the American dream is more apt to be realized in South America, in places such as Ecuador, Venezuela and Argentina."

Millions of Venezuelans have experienced days without food.

VZ was NOT socialist until Chavez. You have so little education or curiosity.

During the 1970s, Venezuela was the richest country in Latin America. With the region’s highest growth rates and the lowest levels of inequality, it was also one of the most stable democracies in the Americas. But starting in the early 1980s, things fell apart. The nation endured three coup attempts and one presidential impeachment. Per capita growth plunged, and mass protests became the norm. What happened?

Venezuela Before Chávez: Anatomy of an Economic Collapse, edited by Ricardo Hausmann and Francisco R. Rodríguez, offers some intriguing answers. Pointedly departing from much of the current research (and political discussion) on Venezuela, which focuses on the 14-year presidency (1999–2013) of late President Hugo Chávez, the editors have assembled a distinguished group of experts with the aim not only of exploring, as they put it, the “enigma” of Venezuela’s pre-Chávez collapse, but to explain why some countries go through such turbulence. The unexpected outcomes in Venezuela are used by the authors to challenge hypotheses that rely on big data analysis to explain economic collapse.

It always amazes me how leftists like Kudzo claim places like Venezuela aren’t really socialist even though said countries proclaim their socialism. They literally nationalized businesses which is the definition of socialism

Well, I only Mentioned the TV show because it was Clinton Williams "Clint" Murchison Sr. who produced the series and was the first-hand Oil Business Consultant for the series as well!

Doesn't change that you watch too much TV and believe everything you see on it.

Bush's problem was that the price per barrel was too low for anyone to invest in rigs or exploration or drilling... and with Iraqi oil off the market for so long it appeared that Iraqi supply was hardly missed.

In other words you're willing to blame the white President and willing to kiss the ass of the black one. Pucker up.
