Gas prices are projected to stay high through 2022. Now will you buy a Tesla?

Thread: Gas prices are projected to stay high through 2022.

Does this mean they won't go even higher ???

The Tesla is programmed to find you a charger. Enter your destination and the car will show you the chargers along the way on the map and recommend where to stop depending on how much power you have.

Does that include motel room while you wait for your car to charge (hoping there is no power outage)?

Let's be clear. You know absolutely nothing about other posters, Your immature insults are beneath contempt. You show serious problems you should have addressed.

Posters like Soiler must make shit up about other posters to feel better about themselves. He's pretty good at making shit up.
Not much else, though.

I bought my Model Y LR AWD for $55k in June. The prices have gone up with the demand but EVs are less expensive to drive and maintain than gas cars. There are three things that are driving the exploding popularity of EVs:

Longer range
More charging stations
More car models/manufacturers to choose from

And those three things continue to increase. As people see their friends and neighbors driving and enjoying their EVs, the EV tend will continue to explode.

Wish I could buy a Tesla now, but all my cars are in good shape. For now I'll buy all the Tesla stock I can and use the profits to buy
the best Tesla they make in 6 years.

Will a dodge ram have the towing capacity necessary to haul all the batteries it will need to perform like a Cummins diesel? :)

Singing to the choir. The die has been cast. In 30 years there will only be legacy gas autos. Everything will be electric, solar, hydro and wind that possibly can be.
Fossils can get back to being fossils.

Until then, can the grid handle the load of hundreds of millions of batteries being recharged?

Can't pull my boat, horse trailer, RV or any other useful thing with a Tesla. I'll just vote for the candidate who is for making fuel more affordable who doesn't think everyone should drive a certain kind of vehicle, thank you very much.

I almost forgot, with a range of only 320 miles, that's not even a day's driving and will not get me to my in-laws for the holidays. No to Tesla...or electric vehicles of any kind for me.

Yes, you can. You need to stop reading the far right wing bullshit media who tells you this crap. You're welcome.

Yes, Teslas tow. Both the Model X and Model 3 Teslas are officially rated for towing, and their towing capacity by weight is not far off from a standard fuel-powered car at 5,000 lb.

Then I suggest you continue to buy and drive gas cars and continue to change your oil, maintain your radiator fluid, auto-trans fluid, brake fluid, change your brake pads and drive to a gas station and fill up your car when it needs gas so you can visit your in-laws 3-4 times a year. Keep an eye on those rising gas prices, Gomer.

I will do all of the above AND I will continue to vote for the candidate who is friendly to the oil and gas industry and convince everyone I can to do the same.

If there was a "laugh" option along with the "Thanks"/"Groan" option I would choose it on your post about towing. Believe me, I have checked into all of the specifics of not just Tesla but of others about towing and none...none within normal price range would do what a normal, half ton Chevy Silverado will do. So it's still no dice. "Owned"???? Hardley so.

And you can call me "Gomer" if you want to. I'm guessing it makes you feel superior. Whatever. I have an uncle by that name who is a really good man.
