Gambia's president claims he has cure for AIDS

It would be great if he is right.
I wonder how many drug company reps are flying there now with their eyes full of mega dollar visions to get a contract with him ?

You're assuming curing disease is the real goal of the medical establishment. They like to sell worthless expensive pills to sick diabetic overweight americans. A drug that could cure aids would mean they couldn't sell their other aids pills.

Hence the announcement to the world. Even if the regular medical community refuses to give the treatment people would travel to Gambia, spend money there, and get the treatment.
 
Umm With all the righties whining about the sexually related HPV vaccine, they would fight administration of an AIDS vaccine if we ever develop one.
