Gadhafi's forces adapt to airstrikes, pound rebels

AJDABIYA, Libya – Moammar Gadhafi's ground forces recaptured a strategic oil town Wednesday and moved within striking distance of another major eastern city, nearly reversing the gains rebels made since international airstrikes began. Rebels pleaded for more help, while a U.S. official said government forces are making themselves harder to target by using civilian "battle wagons" with makeshift armaments instead of tanks.

so here we are, much as i predicted...a going back and forth...the only thing left to predict, is how long this civil war is going to take. now we find out that AQ is among the rebels, the people obama wants to give weapons to. obama believes most of the opposition leaders are educationally elite - professionals, lawyers doctors. yet, hillary said...we don't know who we are dealing with.

i had no problem in the beginning when i thought we would go in and quickly take out gaddafi...obama said he must go....now....he won't commit ground forces, but he will commit CIA ground people....he wants to arm the rebels, but doesn't know who they are....

obama made this sound as if it was another egypt, a struggle of the people. now....who knows what this and the more we found out, the more it looks like the rebels are AQ or other forces and are not in fact the "people" obama made them out to be.

if gaddaffi needs to go, take him out now. like bush I should have done.
