Outgoing White House chief of staff John Kelly is reportedly “furious” at Donald Trump and his son-in-law adviser Jared Kushner for pushing him out of the role.

A senior Trump administration official told The New York Times that Kelly kept written notes about Kushner and Trump “and the things that they had done or requested” — and that he “conspicuously” left in view of his staff on his desk.

The report did not mention whether those notes could be subject to subpoena and investigation.

Because Trump was “distrustful” of the chief of staff’s judgment, he won’t be consulting him on his replacement, those close to the president told the Times.

He was nevertheless at the White House Monday and went to a meeting with the president.

The report written by the Times‘ Maggie Haberman, Katie Rogers and Annie Karni also noted that Trump has proposed replacing Kelly with Matthew Whitaker, his acting attorney general.

The president “enjoys embarrassing reporters and planting his own information about staff machinations,” the report noted, and mentioned Whitaker’s name in spite of the opinions of “nearly every West Wing staff member” who said it’s unrealistic...

Nick Ayers turned Trump down flat.. Who would be fool enough (or desperate enough) to take the job?

Frankly, if anyone takes the job, they have to weigh whether they will need and can afford a lawyer. These guys can't just go the yellow pages for ANY lawyer. Peons have left administrations owing thousands, even HUNDREDS of thousands of $$ in legal fees to prove they didn't know anything, didn't do anything wrong but worked for the wrong guy!

MANY left the Bush (2) administration in hock!

Kelly gets no sympathy from me!

Here he has had two opportunities with two separate jobs with this administration.

He could have walked away from both had he made the right decision.

He is part of the denial and lying that is going on in this White House!

And he has no right to lay his hands on anyone- including Scaramuchi!

Good riddance!

Really? Good grief... I never knew that.

Kelly proved to be an asshole in many respects, just less so than TRUMP. He still owes a serious apology for trashing one of our (FL) congresswomen! He either had misogyny or racism in his heart when the bastard attempted to take her down! UNCUT VIDEOTAPE doesn't lie and the local news station had it in it's entirety. He never backed down from his first person account of an OBVIOUS LIE.

Remember he also didn't think WIFE-BEATERS should lose their jobs. But then the MILITARY has had more than its share of misogynists over the decades. Military wives have learned to keep their mouths shut about it. Dare I say, the officers wives could well be the most shamed and intimidated.

Wait a minute! So an anonymous source said it??!!!

I can smell a book deal because liberal dumb fucks love buying up any anti-Trump screed they can find! Suckers,

[Really? Good grief... I never knew that.]

There's a young(er) woman who worked in the BUSH WHITE HOUSE who went into some depth about this. She's an MSNBC anchor now. (Can't remember her name at the moment). I didn't know that but it made sense after she told what happened to many lower level Bush staff. (I remember she punctuated her remarks like it was a big deal and a serious consideration).

Uh oh, he wrote notes? I guess That means we should hinge whatever credibility we have left by speculating on the flimsiest of information.

let me bottom line it for you nut-bags,

your Da Russians fantasy burger is almost cooked , so find something else to moan about,

god knows we can't wait to hear it :eyeroll:
