From massive protests to a puny parade, America really let Donald Trump down

President Trump had the perfect response to the "protests"...they were quite the tribute... And the message to the country was clear...Dems have officially lost their minds...lol
The parade was amazing...
I think you're right "the message to the country was clear". The unexpectedly high turnout of the protests in contrast to the low attendance at the parade should be seen by Trump's government as a warning. Some Americans like a would be king in the WH, but they are a distinct minority.

I blame Hegswith and the Pentagon leadership.

These soldiers weren't drilled for parade performance and military precision, nor were they given adequate motivation. I don't know any 18 year olds who want to give up a Saturday to perform for a 79 year old's birthday party.
Trump has decimated our military leadership in a quest to have the military swear fealty to him over to the Constitution.

The true irony of last Saturday was Trump, an oath-breaking draft-dodger, administering the oath to 250 soldiers.

More on Trump's biographer, Michael Wolff, remarks regarding Trump's rage at the failure of his parade to be a menacing display like North Korea's and Russia's.

Notice how the "They have TDS" response is becoming more common as an emotional reaction to criticism for Trump's decisions.

Wolff detailed how Trump's 250th Army anniversary celebration—which coincided with his 79th birthday—became an embarrassing spectacle that sent the commander-in-chief into a meltdown.

"He's pissed off at the soldiers," Wolff revealed, explaining that Trump was livid his troops appeared to be "having a good time" rather than displaying the "menacing" military face he had wanted.

As thousands of soldiers and tanks paraded past largely empty bleachers on Constitution Avenue, social media erupted with mockery over the out-of-sync marching and dreary atmosphere that matched Washington's gloomy weather. The sparse crowds and lackluster energy clearly got under Trump's skin.

"He kind of reamed out Hegseth," Wolff said, describing a phone call in which Trump repeatedly demanded to know "Who staged this?" and complained about the "tone problem."

The White House lashed out at Wolff's comments, with communications director Steven Cheung calling him "a lying sack of s--t" who is suffering from "Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted his peanut-sized brain."
Sad little caricature of ignorance and stupidity; Trump lives in that empty head of yours.

It did and he's embarassed about it. Expect, as usual, for Trump to overreact with exactly the wrong response and further increase the odds of a shellacking during the Midterms.

QED. Expect more masked men in black uniforms attacking anyone who disagrees, deployment of the US military in "blue" cities and other actions befitting a dictator.

No doubt a nation of Americans with more guns than people will simply bend over like MAGA sheep and take it in the ass. NOT! LOL
Brainless loon thinks he is smarter than Trump. Might give Kamala a run for her money though.

It would seem poor Dutch has once again become.......triggered. ;) Take a Midol dutch,....then just recline back in your chair and stare at all the pretty plants and flowers......:) Its all going to be ok....

Indeed. Nothing much between his ears other than a severe case of TDS. Cutest part of the whiny little man is that he thinks he is smart.

So we agree...the message was clear...
It definitely proves that large numbers don't really mean a thing...;) I still can't get anyone to tell me why they wasted all that time going out there on Friday night...or Saturday...
"We showed President Trump how much we hate him"...such good role models...lol...

Both Trump and his DUI hire are so wrapped up smelling their own shit that they have no clue how most Americans think. They see what they want to see and then become disappointed by the results.

Trump habitually disrespects the military then expects them to act like North Korean troops when he snaps his fingers. By decimating our military leadership, Trump has demoralized it from the top down. While recruiting numbers are up, when reality sets in among those newly enlisted, the demoralization continues.

Our military personnel feel like they are pawns in Trump's quest for an authoritarian, White Nationalist nation.
 Unhinged. America haters really are becoming mental over Trumps many successes and their failed predictions.

You're right. Trump got rid of competence in favor of blind loyalty.

Competent leadership would never have let American soldiers look substandard compared to the military discipline and precision shown by Mexican and French armed forces on their Independence Day and Bastille Day parades, respectively.

You just nailed it.
