It's not a "media narrative." It's an actual investigation - the Dems and "media" had nothing to do w/ starting it.
And I have no idea what they'll find, if anything. But I'm not incredibly stupid enough to downplay (on a daily basis) the fact that Russia is not our ally, and that Putin is not a leader who can be trusted one iota. And it's not "starting a war" to treat them with suspicion and caution.
Allow me to translate:
"I promoted and worshipped Drumpf for many months now, so I have to continue defending the indefensible, or else I will loose face in front of anonymous people on the internet whom I don't know and will never meet!"

The FBI saw enough to start an investigation. We don't know what that is - but we also know, 100%, that they don't start investigations based on ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Comey was highly respected and well liked within the FBI. They are not going to take his firing graciously.
