Freshman Democratic U.S. Rep. Parker Griffith announced Tuesday he

Sorry hon not a hippie. I don't think a hippie has a french manicure. :321: Oh and on edit I've never claimed to know it all. You put those words in my mouth. Yawn.

I see you have a proclivity to want to extract literal meanings of words. Going to college is a great thing. I went to college and loved it. But because one takes college courses doesn't automatically make one smarter or better than someone else.

Edit: And to help with you context me using the quote does not imply you said you know everything. It is a quote describing your behavior of seeiming to be a know it all.

living in San Francisco I can tell you for a fact they do not. However it is still an iconic quote.

As a twenty-seven woman I like my manicures and keeping myself nice and neat. Just because I'm this or that politically doesn't mean I am in person. I love my "South Park" but no it's not an iconic quote. As a criminal justice major a lot of my classmates are more conservative than me (well everyone probably is haha) and living in the south so I think they would probably find that insulting. Now I don't have to have a degree with my major but with what I want to do a lot of places won't even look at you without a b.s. especially one of the top two places I'm interested in. So get over me being in college. I'm not some nineteen yr old kid. Even if I was it's pathetic for you to ignore what someone says because of their age and that they're getting an education. I value my education and it's something I'm proud of because I've got something I'm good at.

Uh only hon, as I said, I don't think I've ever said that. You did. So you should be lecturing yourself. All I've done is give my opinions like you and everyone else. I've only mentioned me being in college when it comes to perhaps where I've gotten my info from (like in a recent gun thread on some things talked there) and in my intro. Other wise me being in college has to do with nothing. Too many people I've come across online see being in college and working towards your degree for your career goals as a bad thing. It's pathetic to use that as a slam against someone.

Oh so now you're a behavior expert lol.

I'm not knocking you for getting an education. I think its great that you are and are into the classes you are taking. Like I said I went to school and loved it. I would always (with a few exceptions) encourage people to get as much education as they can.

Lol republicans standing up for what they believe in? You mean being bigots and not listening to anyone but themselves? Yeah keep going in that direction. You're doing such a great job in the recent elections across the country the Republican party only won two races out of eight. Whoopie! Good job for standing up like that! Well you know being ignorant quite well don't you? I love a moron talking about other people being moron's. It's so funny.

Look, idiot, you are the one who was talking about people blindly voting for party labels, and then you pointed to a bunch of neocons who were actually creating a mess in their New York district for not supporting a moderate with an R next to her name. Stop being so damned cretinous and dishonest.

And congradulations on noticing that the GOP has not been winning lately. That will probably change in 2010 and 2012, after which they will tag team once more with the Dems, who will probably win big in 2014, and the whole game will reset itself, as it always does.

And you are lecturing me. Oh this is so funny it's pathetic.

apparently someone needs to......you don't know what you're talking about.....for anyone at this point to consider Obama as a conservative democrat can only demonstrate a total lack of comprehension regarding American politics.....did you actually participate in the last election?.....did you pay any attention at all?.....

It's pathetic to use that as a slam against someone.
it's a matter of perspective......when I was in college I campaigned for McGovern.....then I grew up, matured....got a job, married, children.....now I know how stupid college kids can be.....there's hope for you.....just no reason to pay attention to you......
