FRENCH Prime Minister Manuel Valls says the country is to shut down mosques, cut foreign funding and police the content delivered in sermons in a massive crackdown on Islamic fundamentalism.

French Prime Minister Manuel Valls is to clamp down on radical islam calling it 'poison'

The comments come following the murder of 86-year-old French Catholic priest Father Jacques Hamel who was killed on the altar during morning mass last Tuesday and three separate massacres in the country in just over a year. In a newspaper interview Prime Minister Valls says the Republic has been forced to intervene to drive out the "poison" of radical Islamism. And he has announced plans to shut down mosques supporting Salafism, an ultra-orthodox religious-political ideology based on a belief in "physical" jihadism practised by some followers of the Sunni faith.

France, nor Germany are known historically for tolerance & I guess they have finally been pushed to far..

you can't ban religion even though it's super tempting to do so. shitty spot to be in if you are french. what you really gotta do is get to the young minds early and teach them how religion is a bullshit myth so they dont buy into it when they are older.

I think Islam needs to go away for this to end. Part of the solution is what you refer to but part of it is to show that Islam is unacceptable to modern society.

ISIS said they want a situation whether muslims would be forced to "apostate" or leave the religion or join them. I actually think this will hurt ISIS as most muslims will join us in the 21st century rather than the terrorists.

Hopefully this causes some french muslims to leave islam.
 
The only solution to Islam is containment. They can have the MidEast except for Israel along with parts of North Africa. We just need to eliminate them from Europe, the Americas, and anywhere else that civilized society exists. Then we should help the African countries contain that shit as much as possible.

The best thing is the other 2 major blocks, Russia and China see the problems muslims and dont really want them.
