I suppose you rightys do not vote, otherwise you would know more about how it works.
When you register to vote you have to show ID. Then the election commission checks the validity. If they pass, they are assigned a precinct. They send a voters card and assign a precinct for you to vote. The name is listed in the voter's book in the precinct. When you go to the polls, your name is looked up. If not in the book, you do not vote.

Hey stupid. It ain't like that in blue states. They have admitted they let illegal aliens vote by the millions.

In France there is no "electoral college". The president is elected on the basis of the national popular vote.

If the US had that system, there would have been one (single term) Republican president in the past thirty years.

It would destroy the two-party system, unless the GOP could reform itself as a responsible, moderate conservative party.

or you guys could just learn how we do things here and campaign accordingly.......just adopt policies that are attractive to people in more than New York and California......

no he didn't........he said we wanted voter ID and safe elections.......getting rid of the electoral system wouldn't keep you from cheating......voter ID will.....
