They already have it. They used it in Rodney King. Thanks for pointing that out (inadvertently).
but what you want to do is take away the check on government power from the people. that is what makes you look moronic.

From the lowest of society, sure.but what you want to do is take away the check on government power from the people. that is what makes you look moronic.
The gubmint retried four of the police, two were convicted. How so?
From the lowest of society, sure.
You think someone with an advanced education that's self employed will sit on a jury for even a few days? Never. I show up for mandatory jury duty , I'm interviewed, and I'll say whatever it takes to get back to my business ASAP.
l'll take my chances on a professional tribunal that understands the law before I rely on a jury packed with racists (and that goes both ways) on gubmint dole looking to make a quick buck on a book deal.
I know. The system was bound to fail in that case. How many cases are there were the jury is sequestered for over six months? There will not be another OJ trial. That was a once in a lifetime event.

so the whole 'jury of your peers' is not your cup of tea? From the lowest of society, sure.
so what you really want is a professionally paid juror to take you place so you don't have to do a civic duty. this makes you the problem, not the solution. You think someone with an advanced education that's self employed will sit on a jury for even a few days? Yes. The gubmint righted an obvious wrong. Doesn't often happen but when the wrong is egregious it needs to be corrected. Who else to do it besides a vigilante?did you approve of this double jeopardy?
interesting. I remember that trial but didn't follow it. Stupid question, Was that trial in the U.S. or overseas?
florida. tried for murdering her toddler daughter. acquitted by a jury based upon the instructions of the judge in the trial and the publics demand for a quick trial that placed the prosecutor in a bad position with no case. but it seems that aloysius would have preferred a trial decided by emotions rather than facts and law.

The second amendment. Gun ownership is a responsibility not a right, IMO. That's where I part from the typical libertarian.. what other parts of the constitution would you like to do away with then?
Police don't have the required education. Courts are needed as a venue for tribunals.why have courts? just let the police decide who is guilty and punish them the way you like?
Better yet do away with congress and president and anoint me as king.maybe we should do away with congress and let the president become temporary king?
You're right about the libertarian thing. I'm not lockstep with all the platform. Just most of it. I didn't say a vigilante govt. Just a vigilante if not the gubmint. (Google Bernard Goetz)What you're asking for is about 180 degrees from what a Libertarian believes. I don't want a vigilante gov't. You don't think they would abuse that power? You're missing the forest for the trees.
you could have saved me alot of time in this thread by simply stating that you don't know how to read or comprehend simple sentences. The second amendment. Gun ownership is a responsibility not a right, IMO. That's where I part from the typical libertarian.
